Summary:
The Deal Desk Senior Analyst plays a critical role in the sales cycle by supporting the structuring, pricing, terms and managing non-standard policy review and approval of complex B2B SaaS transactions. You will play a critical role in accelerating revenue growth by improving the efficiency, accuracy, and strategic quality of deal execution by working closely with Sales, Customer Success, OTC teams, and various other cross-functional groups to provide a streamlined deal process.
What You'll Do:
Sales Quote Support: Partner with sales representatives to structure deal proposals for enterprise and mid-market customers, ensuring they align with company policies and revenue recognition standards. Liaise with the sales teams to escalate and obtain necessary approvals based on non-standard requests.
Deal Structure and Review: Review and evaluate deals for policy alignment, internal compliance, and booking accuracy aligned with Delinea Booking Policy. Focus on providing sales and customers with their requested end goal while staying within company policy and interest.
Discounting Analysis: Analyze pricing and discounting strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability and compliance with internal guidelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with various cross functional teams, including Order Management, Legal, Sales Ops, etc, on day-to-day operations and long-term projects driving efficiency and automation.
What You’ll Bring:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Experience: 4+ years of experience in a deal desk, sales operations, finance, or revenue operations role, preferably in a SaaS or B2B technology company. Confident in deal structuring/quoting complex SaaS transactions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce (or other CRM systems), CPQ tool, and Microsoft Office.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of SaaS business models, sales processes and methodologies, pricing strategies, and contract structures. Experience in deal support management, preferably in a high-tech industry.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence business partners.
Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Process Improvement Mindset: Experience in optimizing deal processes and leveraging automation tools is a plus.
