This is a remote position.

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable, high-performance infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and applications in AWS
  • Automate and optimize deployment processes
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of new features
  • Continuously improve infrastructure and application security
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in AWS and DevOps

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
  • Strong experience with AWS and its services
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, ELK)
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash, Python)
  • Strong understanding of security best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
