This is a Global Digital Product Owner role focused on managing the development and support of the CAT Foresight CVA and Planned Maintenance products.
Provides day-to-day support to design and development teams, Cat Foresight users and field service staff in relation to product implementation, customization, questions, and problems.
Cat Foresight is digital product tool suite of operational technologies focused enabling lead generation services and fleet/equipment management services.

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $183,140.00

Job Summary:
This is a Global Digital Product Owner role focused on managing the development and support of the CAT Foresight CVA and Planned Maintenance products.

- Focus is on defining, redesigning and driving the development of a redesigned fleet manager workflow and experience in Cat Foresight

What You Will Do:
- Close collaboration and active engagement with digital product managers, Cat Foresight users and development teams and CAT Digital Support.
- Identify opportunities to improve user workflow, user experience and user driven innovations
- Translation of business requirements into technical requirements, acceptance criteria, UI changes
- Support prioritization of product backlog features
- Support activities to enable user adoption and growth
- Driving the development timeline of product strategic roadmap, continuous improvement and integration features
- Proactive support to drive timely product quality improvements
- Identification and documentation of bug features
- Tier 2 level hand up support
What You Will Have:
This role requires a combination of technical, business and interpersonal skills.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Effective Communications: Extensive understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Software Change Request Management: Extensive knowledge of software change request management; ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff.
- Software Problem Management: Working knowledge of strategies, practices and tools for resolving software problems; ability to manage software problems in installed software products.
- Software Product Business Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Extensive knowledge of UAT activities, tasks, tools and techniques; ability to design, implement and evaluate acceptance tests for end-users.
Considerations for Top Candidates:
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in IT related subject
- Industrial domain expertise:
- Services contract management
- Equipment management

- Practical working knowledge of Cat Foresight product toolset (specific working knowledge of CVA and Planned Maintenance product)
- Familiarity with Cat Digital Ecosystem, Cat business processes, Cat dealer aftermarket services execution processes
- Comfortable working with Offshore teams and remote employees
- Familiarity with AI

- Application development and /or digital product owner (typically 3-5 years)
