Salesforce is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Director to join the Customer Success Group (CSG) Strategy & Analytics team. In this pivotal role, you will partner with senior executives to design and execute initiatives that define the growth trajectory of our global business.
As a Director, you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to transforming Salesforce’s Go-To-Market (GTM) engine. By analyzing product-specific trends and identifying critical business needs, you and your team will serve as essential advisors to post-sales leadership, ensuring our strategy evolves alongside our technology.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a sophisticated analytical toolkit and a proven ability to manage complex change. You don’t just track projects; you build the executive alignment and cross-functional relationships necessary to move them forward. We are looking for a fast learner who possesses the gravitas to influence at the highest levels of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and Mentor: Manage a team of 5–7 high-performing individual contributors with expertise in strategy, analytics, and insights development.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to deliver high-priority initiatives that enable the business to scale.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data to conduct in-depth analyses across customer segments, regions, and product lines to identify key value drivers and growth opportunities.
  • Executive Advisory: Act as a strategic thought partner to the CSG Leadership team, helping shape the post-sales strategy across the enterprise.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as the connective tissue between global teams—including Sales, Product, Marketing, and Support—to facilitate collaboration and achieve common goals.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a Strategy & Ops role within the technology sector.
  • Education: BA/BS degree required.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal skills, with the ability to distill complex data into simple, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
  • Analytical Toolkit: Proven experience manipulating and analyzing data using SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • Leadership: Strong business acumen with a track record of managing senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Change Management: Experience leading large, cross-functional teams through complex organizational transformations.
  • Executive Presence: Ability to articulately present, defend, and debate recommendations at the executive level.
  • SaaS Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise software or SaaS GTM strategies.
  • Agility: A high-energy, team-first attitude with the motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
