Castify is used by over 15M people today and is seeking a high-impact Sr. Director of Growth Marketing to join our Squad! 

About this role

What started as the simplest and most reliable screen recorder in the world, with millions of users, is now a multi-product, AI-first platform. Our near future is full of ambitious new goals, features, and products that will enable us to further improve how we provide service to our users and accelerate growth. 

We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on marketing leader with SaaS experience who can own strategy and execution across demand generation and product marketing to drive measurable revenue growth. As the Senior Director of Growth Marketing, you’ll report directly to the President, GTM, and be a key driver of our marketing strategy.

What you’ll do:

Go To Market Ownership:

  • Understand and own the full marketing lifecycle. 
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive revenue growth while collaborating closely with the Sales team.
  • Align Marketing initiatives to closed revenue.
  • Leverage B2C demand to drive B2B sales.
  • Create a consistent outbound sales and marketing motion.

Product Marketing 

  • Customer Communication Strategy: Define and own a comprehensive communication framework across the customer and product journey, leveraging email, notifications, in-product prompts, and other channels to drive engagement and retention.
  • Product Expertise & Enablement: Serve as the go-to product expert, creating sales enablement materials, customer-facing content, and internal training programs to support customer success and sales teams.
  • Market Research & Customer Insights: Conduct user interviews, analyze customer needs, and gather market insights to inform messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Represent Screencastify at conferences, industry events, and customer meetings, advocating for the brand and gathering insights to improve market positioning.

Team Leadership and Coaching:

  • Lead and inspire a small marketing team, providing guidance, strategy, mentorship, and constructive feedback.
  • Implement coaching strategies to enhance the performance of the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture that drives increased sales, top of funnel traffic, and conversions.

Strategic Planning:

  • Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Drive initiatives to reach new accounts and expand the company's market share within the K-12 education sector while launching new campaigns to expand into new markets such as post-secondary education and corporate.
  • Align our messaging and value proposition with market needs.

Metrics and Reporting:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). 
  • Provide regular, detailed reports on individual and team performance, identifying areas for improvement and success.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product development, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment with company-wide initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between the marketing team and other departments to foster a cohesive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

You’re perfect for this role if you:
  • Have proven experience as a successful Marketing Director in a SaaS environment driving growth. 
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a track record of improving outcomes at each phase of the customer journey.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to the development of marketing strategies and adapt to market changes.
  • Have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Are a self-driven problem solver with a results-oriented approach.
  • Have experience with marketing a product in the Chrome Web Store.

This is a Chicago-based position with 3 days a week in the office.

Compensation

The expected annual base salary for this role is anticipated to start at $150,000 with an annual performance bonus. Final compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.
