Imaging is an externally reported segment, and this role serves as the P&L custodian for Imaging Primary (factory, R&D, product management) with extended scope to enable a full franchise view through management reporting, commercial analytics, and executive-level insights.
By leveraging the Heartbeat business system, Lean concepts, and technology/digitization, this role is also accountable for standardizing and modernizing Imaging FP&A processes across sub-segments to enable consistent roll-ups, scalable analytics, and best-in-class operating rhythms. In addition, this role is responsible for developing and deploying a strategic framework for holistic variable cost productivity and operating leakage identification, quantification, tracking, and problem solving. Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
  • Leads the wing-to-wing FP&A cycle for Imaging Primary, including planning, forecasting/estimates, monthly/quarterly close, operating cadence, P&L stewardship, variance analysis, and business insight generation from orders/sales through operating margin/operating profit; ensures reliable and defensible estimates and clear performance narratives.

  • Supports daily/weekly/monthly estimates and quarterly closing by developing granular, actionable performance views and tracking progress to plan; partners with sub segment teams to implement actions to drive performance to planned outcomes.

  • Drives profitability and decision support across the Imaging franchise, extending to franchise fully burdened P&L to support management reporting, commercial analytics, and performance insights used in L0 pulse / Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR), including content that enables the Imaging Segment CEO/CFO operating reviews with GE HealthCare CEO/CFO.

  • Acts as the standard setter for Imaging FP&A processes across sub-segment FP&A teams by defining common planning/estimating approaches, roll-up methodologies, governance, and standard work; ensures consistent definitions, assumptions, and performance reporting across the segment.

  • Leads standardization and digitization of internal FP&A processes and tools, including how estimates are rolled up, challenged, and reported; drives digitized analytics for insights, commercial performance, and variance explanations; applies Lean to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enable resource-optimized, scalable execution.

  • Builds and deploys a holistic variable cost productivity and operating leakage framework, ensuring margin drivers are assessed end-to-end—not only through identified productivity projects, but also through structural inefficiencies and operational leakage; enables consistent identification, quantification, measurement, tracking, and governance of key margin drivers.

  • Establishes an operating mechanism to analyze and problem solve leakage, including repeatable routines, KPI dashboards, root-cause problem solving, and cross-functional action plans; ensures transparency, accountability, and sustained results.

  • Leads and develops teams and stakeholders to solve complex problems; evaluates quality of information, challenges conflicting data, and synthesizes inputs from multiple internal/external sources to drive decisions and recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or other numeracy-based topics and 5 years financial work experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with Power BI, AI, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights and performance narratives.

Desired Characteristics
