Senior Financial Analyst, Data and Analytics

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager of Finance Data & Analytics within the Global Financial Planning & Analysis team, the Senior Analyst, Finance Data & Analytics will support Conagra’s finance transformation initiatives by developing modern reporting solutions, automating financial processes, and building analytical tools that improve decision-making across the organization.
This role combines financial knowledge with technical capabilities to create scalable reporting, streamline workflows, and enhance the efficiency of financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data, automation, and analytics to solve business problems and improve the finance organization’s capabilities.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Sigma Computing, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools to provide timely and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain standardized financial datasets and reporting models in partnership with Finance and IT teams to support consistent reporting and analysis.
• Design and implement automated workflows that reduce manual reporting activities and improve the efficiency and accuracy of recurring finance processes.
• Create analytical tools, templates, and models that enable Finance teams to perform scenario planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance evaluations more effectively.
• Partner with FP&A, Operational Finance and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into user-friendly reporting and analytical solutions.
• Support the development and maintenance of financial data assets within Databricks and other enterprise data platforms while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, eliminate manual work, and enhance data quality through automation and process improvements.
• Document reporting logic, calculations, and business processes to support governance, knowledge sharing, and long-term sustainability.
• Assist with testing and validation of new financial reports, datasets, and automation solutions before deployment.
• Stay informed on emerging analytics, automation, and AI technologies and identify opportunities to enhance Finance processes

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Intelligence, Financial Systems, Analytics, or Finance Transformation.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, Sigma Computing, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Experience with SQL and working with large financial datasets; familiarity with Databricks is preferred.
• Experience automating business processes using tools such as Alteryx, Power Automate, SQL, Python, or similar technologies is preferred.
• Understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with SAP products (S/4 and BPC) or other enterprise financial systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical reporting and automation solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, and business teams.
• Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation, to improve finance processes.

Compensation 

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
