The role, in a nutshell:

We’re hiring a Senior Finance Analyst to help us better understand our business and make faster, better decisions. This is not a reporting role. You’ll own the financial model, KPI infrastructure, and performance insights, working closely with the Head of FP&A as a true thought partner.

You’ll translate strategy into numbers, bring structure to ambiguity, and proactively surface insights that shape how we operate. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to drive impact, not just report on it.

If you’re excited by ambiguity, enjoy building from scratch, and want a seat at the table for real decisions, this is a high-impact opportunity.

What you’ll do:

Own the financial model

Build, maintain, and continuously improve operating and cash flow models

Translate strategic initiatives into scenarios (pricing, headcount, GTM changes)

Stress-test assumptions and proactively surface risks and opportunities

Evolve models as the business scales and changes

Build and run KPI infrastructure

Define and own core business and sales KPIs

Build dashboards that leadership actively uses to make decisions

Partner with Sales, Ops, and Finance to ensure metrics are accurate and actionable

Continuously iterate on metrics that are not driving behavior or outcomes

Generate business and sales insights

Analyze revenue, pipeline, sales efficiency, and unit economics

Deliver clear insights on what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what to do next

Proactively identify trends and issues before they show up in results

Support high-impact ad hoc analyses tied to real business decisions

Act as a thought partner to leadership

Work closely with the Head of FP&A on strategic questions

Bring data-backed hypotheses and perspectives

Challenge assumptions constructively

Help drive tradeoff decisions across growth, efficiency, and cash

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role

Experience in consulting and/or high-growth startup environments

Exposure to sales, revenue, or GTM metrics

Strong bias for action with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfort operating in ambiguity with imperfect data

Decision-oriented mindset focused on outcomes, not just reporting

Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners

Technical skills

Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency

Familiarity with planning tools such as Pigment or Anaplan

Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

Who we need:

We need a builder and a thinker.

Someone who can take an ambiguous problem, turn it into a structured model, and drive clear insights that influence decisions. You should be equally comfortable building financial models, defining KPIs from scratch, partnering with Sales and GTM leaders, and pushing back on assumptions when the data tells a different story.

This is a role for someone who wants real ownership — not just of outputs, but of outcomes.

If you’re motivated by impact, enjoy working closely with leadership, and want to help shape how finance operates at a high-growth company, we’d love to talk.

About Us

We live and breathe our company values:

  • We are customer obsessed — We focus on delivering solutions to our customers that create value and make their lives better.
  • We have a bias for intentional action — We prioritize, plan, try things, and fail fast.
  • We don't take ourselves too seriously (but we do serious work) — We are solving an important problem which takes focus, but we also like to enjoy the journey.
  • We trust each other and assume good intentions — We're transparent with decisions to empower team members to make well informed decisions.

A few of the benefits we offer:

  • Flexible & Remote-First Culture: Work remotely with team meetup opportunities, bi-annual destination summits, and a monthly stipend for coworking spaces, phone and internet costs.
  • Our Approach to Equity: Receive stock options upon hire and promotion. Plus, you can participate in secondary offerings and have 10 years to exercise your options (yes, you read that correctly: 10 years!).
  • 100% Covered Health Insurance: We cover 100% of your health, vision and dental insurance premiums for you and your dependents. Nothing comes out of your paycheck.
  • ∞ Flexible Time Off: Take the time you need – to do our best work, we need to recharge and reset.
  • 18 Weeks Paid Parental Leave: We offer 18 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents, with the option to use it all at once or throughout your child's first year.

If your experience is close but doesn't fulfill all requirements, please apply. We're building the best team in technology and are focused on hiring "Chainguardians" with unique backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
