We are currently seeking a full- time Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of assigned programs, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of financial performance. This role requires a strong understanding of program structure, key financial drivers, and operational requirements, including revenue detail and pharmacy inventory summaries.
As a key partner to Operations and Leadership, the Financial Analyst acts as a trusted financial consultant, providing data-driven insights and analysis to support decision-making, prioritization, and achievement of financial and operational objectives. The role also includes leading financial reviews with operations to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
The Financial Analyst plays an integral role in budgeting and forecasting processes, including developing and refining financial models, supporting program-level planning discussions, and incorporating leadership feedback into final deliverables. Additionally, this position supports pricing activities, including mid-cycle adjustments, evaluates the financial impact of staffing matrix changes, and contributes to RFP/RFB efforts as needed to ensure alignment with financial goals and strategic priorities.
- Oversees all finance related activities for assigned contracts including developing and monitoring progress against Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Conducts ongoing contract reviews, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and compensation evaluations.
- Identifies financial and operational drivers, and leverages knowledge to effectively forecast, develop short/long-term recommendations and execute in alignment with established contractual requirements and financial objectives.
- Complies with accounting policies and procedures, legal requirements and contractual obligations.
- Utilizes internal controls to ensure deviations are proactively brought to the attention of the contract and corporate leaders in a timely manner.
- Assists leadership in analyzing client requests, contract terms, program events, etc.
- Ensures clear communication and review of financial reports and compliance with contract language as they relate to finance and accounting.
- Identifies trends in financial and operational performance and provides recommendations to Regional Leaders and Finance.
- Ensures corporate-mandated Finance policies, procedures, directives, and decisions are communicated fully and objectively across assigned region.
- Conduct and/or attend monthly contract Finance reviews and improve the financial and contractual competence of assigned contract leaders at all levels.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Business program; Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
- MBA or CPA preferred.
- Ability to adapt to change and/or meet stated or recurring deadlines.
- Excellent financial and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to quickly work through, organize, and manage large sets of data.
- Advanced in Excel and proficient with Microsoft applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to accurately create, interpret and/or assess reports, financial data and models in accordance with GAAP
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years related experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an entrepreneurial attitude, willingness to learn and adapt, and a high emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
