The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Financial Operations Analyst – Process Excellence & Analytics to serve as a strategic partner in driving Financial Operations transformation initiatives, with a focus on order-to-cash optimization, process automation, operational analytics, and systems enablement.
Reporting to the Financial Operations Manager, this role will bridge Finance, Sales, IT, and Operations to improve business processes, enhance system capabilities, and drive scalable operational solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with process improvement expertise and a passion for leveraging technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve business outcomes.


 

Key Responsibilities:

Process Excellence & Transformation

  • Lead and support end-to-end process improvement initiatives across order processing, billing, commissions, and related Financial Operations workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate manual effort, improve controls, and increase scalability.
  • Facilitate process mapping, future-state design, and operational readiness activities for strategic initiatives.

Systems & Business Enablement

  • Partner with business and technology teams to support Salesforce, Billing Platform, CaptivateIQ, and other Financial Operations initiatives.
  • Define business requirements and collaborate with IT to design and implement technology-enabled solutions.
  • Support system enhancements, integrations, testing, and change management efforts.

Analytics & Performance Management

  • Develop and maintain productivity metrics, operational scorecards, dashboards, and KPI reporting across Financial Operations teams.
  • Analyze workload, capacity, cycle times, service levels, and operational trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage Excel, Power BI, Copilot, and other emerging technologies to generate actionable business insights and improve decision-making.

Continuous Improvement & Automation

  • Support automation initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled capabilities to identify practical business applications.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven problem solving and operational excellence practices.

Governance & Controls

  • Support SOX compliance, audit activities, and process documentation efforts.
  • Ensure key operational processes remain controlled, documented, and scalable.

A Day in the Life

  • Partner with Finance, Sales, IT, and Operations leaders to align priorities and advance strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze operational workflows, data, and performance trends to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable process and system enhancements.
  • Develop dashboards, KPI reporting, and operational insights for leadership.
  • Support project activities including requirements gathering, testing, validation, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Present findings and recommendations that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and business outcomes.


 

Requirements:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Process Improvement, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with Billing Platforms, ERP systems, CaptivateIQ, or Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or higher).
  • Experience supporting system implementations, integrations, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls, audit processes, or operational governance.
  • Experience with Power BI, Copilot, AI-enabled analytics tools, or advanced Excel reporting.
