They are looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager that will support the team in all Human Resources functions to include employment, training & development, labor relations, Team Member engagement, and benefits & perks. 

Salary: $85,000-$92,000 annually based on experience

As a Senior Human Resources Manager, you’re not just partnering with leadership in overseeing daily operations of the hotel’s HR function – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager will join a dynamic Human Resources team in serving 650+ Team Members in a high-volume office. This is a high-performing generalist role that will primarily focus on conducting hotel-wide training and development, managing leaves of absence, conducting workplace investigations, managing HRIS platform, and implementing recognition and engagement initiatives. This role will also support HR leadership in the administration of disciplinary action and union grievances.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of human resources experience, with hotel and union environment experience preferred but not required. This is a great role for a Human Resources professional who is looking for and willing to collaborate with seasoned HR leaders, utilize critical thinking to solve complex HR matters, and who will take pride in making a meaningful impact on the lives of a diverse workforce. 

Here's what you may be exposed to or do during a typical day:

  • Partner with leaders and oversee daily HR operations: Manage key HR functions, including recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, compliance, and performance management, ensuring compliance with corporate HR policies and federal/local regulations
  • Foster Team Member engagement: Lead team member relations initiatives such as recognition programs, special events, and engagement activities to create a positive workplace culture
  • Manage HR systems and compliance: Oversee team member data management, track employment transitions, generate reports, and process unemployment claims
  • Inspire and develop the team: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team
