The Wholesale Digital & Innovation (WDI) organization partners closely with Commercial Banking (CB) and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) to deliver modern, scalable, and differentiated digital capabilities across payments, entitlements, and self-service experiences.
About the Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Management to join the Digital Payments and Entitlements team within CB & CIB Digital. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Payments and Entitlements, this role is a high-impact, senior individual contributor position that blends product strategy, program execution, and stakeholder leadership.
This role is best suited for a strong operator and strategic thinker who can move fluidly between vision and execution. You will help shape and implement portfolio-level strategy across a complex set of digital products, ensure smooth execution across teams, and provide senior leaders with clear visibility into investments, progress, and realized value.
This role goes well beyond communications. You will act as a trusted advisor, force multiplier, and integrator, helping align product, technology, business, and enablement teams to deliver outcomes at scale. In This Role, You Will:
Digital Strategy & Transformation Leadership
- Partner closely with the Head of Digital Payments and Entitlements to define, refine, and operationalize strategy across the digital payments and entitlements portfolio.
- Identify, shape, and mobilize high-priority transformation initiatives across CB and CIB Digital, including initiatives related to AI, digital self-service, platform modernization, and scale enablement.
- Help ensure strategy translates into clear priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Provide lightweight but effective program leadership across multiple initiatives, ensuring priorities are clear, dependencies are managed, and teams stay aligned.
- Anticipate risks and remove blockers by coordinating across product, technology, operations, finance, and enablement teams.
- Bring consistency to how the team plans, tracks, and communicates delivery without introducing unnecessary process.
- Partner with product managers, strategy, and innovation teams to craft cohesive narratives and roadmaps that connect today's investments to the future vision.
- Ensure leaders have a clear, integrated view of what the team is building, why it matters, and how it delivers value to the business and customers.
- Develop concise, high-quality materials for senior leadership forums, including CB/CIB Digital Steering Committees and Business Unit Reviews.
- Translate complex product and technology topics into clear, actionable executive insights.
- Ensure stakeholders across the organization have ongoing visibility into investments, progress, and outcomes.
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
- Build trusted relationships with CB and CIB Digital leaders and their teams.
- Act as a connector across functions, ensuring perspectives are reflected and decisions are socialized effectively.
- Influence outcomes through credibility, clarity, and collaboration rather than authority.
- Partner with Readiness & Enablement, Finance, and Data & Analytics teams to articulate the cumulative value of digital investments.
- Help define success metrics and tell a compelling, data-backed story of impact over time.
- 7+ years of experience in digital product management, product strategy, program management, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education
- 3+ years of experience or demonstrable equivalent working knowledge in payments or money movement ecosystems, gained through roles at a bank, fintech, or boutique consulting firm, with exposure to digital payments, transaction banking, or financial platform initiatives
- Proven experience operating at the intersection of product strategy, program execution, and digital transformation in large, complex organizations
- Strong working knowledge of AI-enabled product development and delivery
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous information into clear strategic direction and actionable plans
- Experience influencing senior leaders across product, technology, business, finance, and enablement functions without direct authority
- Strong understanding of Commercial, Corporate, and Investment Banking digital ecosystems, including payments, entitlements, platforms, and self-service capabilities
- Deep familiarity with modern digital product operating models, including platform thinking, portfolio management, and outcome-based delivery
- Exceptional executive storytelling and narrative design skills, with a track record of shaping leadership discussions and decisions
- Comfort using data, analytics, and AI-driven insights to articulate value, measure impact, and guide prioritization
- Ability to learn rapidly, adapt to shifting priorities, and operate effectively in high-ambiguity, high-visibility environments
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability; resilient and tenacious in driving outcomes
- Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to connect dots across teams and initiatives
