Department Overview
Supply Chain M&A Department
The Supply Chain M&A Department drives growth and operational continuity by managing end-to-end supply chain strategy across mergers and acquisitions. We lead comprehensive due diligence to identify synergies and manage risks, while executing seamless integration strategies across procurement, logistics, and operations to ensure the full value of every deal is realized. Central to our mission is supporting newly acquired team members—delivering a welcoming, structured transition that helps them acclimate quickly to MSI’s culture, systems, and operations.
Job Description

The successful candidate will take primary accountability for post-signing integration planning and execution, allowing the team to flex bandwidth between diligence and integration as deal flow requires. Given our unique alignment under the CFO, this individual will bridge the gap between operational supply chain execution and hard financial metrics, ensuring all acquired businesses successfully scale to meet our Vision 2030 goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integration Strategy & Execution: Lead end-to-end post-signing integration activities, designing and executing Day 1 readiness plans, 100-day integration roadmaps, and TSA exit strategies.

  • Financial Modeling & Synergy Tracking: Partner closely with Corp Dev and FP&A to build models for ROI, operating costs, and capital investments.

  • Post-Merger Value Realization: Rigorously track and report on synergy commitments to withstand executive and CFO scrutiny while driving committed business outcomes.

  • Executive Reporting: Establish robust, comprehensive, and repeatable status updates, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and broader business units.

  • Cross-Functional Consensus: Drive alignment, operational prioritization, and change management across cross-functional integration teams, including Go-To-Market (GTM), Sales, Product, HR, IT, and Supply Chain.

  • Portfolio Scaling: Initially manage integration within the Supply Chain and Business Operations ecosystem (including, but not limited to hardware, software, and services across international and domestic targets), with the explicit expectation to expand scope into IT integration over time.

  • Execution & Strategy Mix: Address the integration backlog while developing and implementing an integration playbook and center of excellence and planning and executing the integration of new acquisitions.

Experience:

  • Proven track record of leading corporate post-merger integrations (PMI) either within a corporate environment or through a top-tier management consulting firm.

  • Practical, hands-on experience managing complex M&A integration lifecycles (Day 1, 100-day plans, synergy capturing).

  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain/operations, though diverse industry backgrounds (e.g., tech, industrial, consumer, healthcare, financial services) will be considered if accompanied by strong PMI mastery.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate operational milestones into P&L impact (revenue retention, working capital, ROI).

  • Expert-level project management capabilities, including utilization of modern integration and synergy tracking tools.

  • Outstanding communication skills, with a verified ability to comfortably present to and influence executive stakeholders, targets, and cross-functional peers.

  • Availability: Preferred to onboard immediately

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.

  • An MBA or advanced degree  in Business is highly preferred.

Target Base Salary Range: $120,300  - $186,300
