360 Live Media, a Smithbucklin company, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Manager to lead revenue growth for a portfolio of high-profile association clients. This executive-level position provides strategic oversight for exhibit, sponsorship, advertising, and partnership sales programs while leading a team of sales professionals responsible for execution.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and an experienced sales leader who can build client confidence, coach high-performing teams, and identify innovative revenue opportunities. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, develop long-term revenue growth strategies, and ensure consistent execution against aggressive revenue goals.

This role manages multiple complex client portfolios, including large national trade shows and year-round sponsorship and advertising programs.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Revenue Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue growth strategies for assigned client portfolios.
  • Lead and oversee execution for exhibit, sponsorship, advertising, and partnership sales strategy for multiple national associations.
  • Serve as the senior strategic advisor to client executives regarding revenue growth opportunities, market trends, pricing strategy, and product development.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and recommend enhancements to sponsorship, advertising, and exhibit offerings.
  • Analyze sales performance, pipeline health, competitive landscape, and industry trends to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Present revenue forecasts, strategic plans, and business updates to executive client stakeholders.
  • Partner with Partner Sales Marketing to develop and oversee integrated sales and marketing strategies that support annual revenue goals and long-term client growth
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics and adjust sales and marketing strategies to maximize lead generation and customer engagement.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales managers and sales professionals both in-office and remotely.
  • Establish sales goals, performance expectations, and accountability measures.
  • Monitor pipeline activity, forecasting accuracy, and sales performance.
  • Provide coaching on complex negotiations, key account strategy, and consultative selling.
  • Partner with team members on strategic sales opportunities and executive-level client conversations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with executive-level client contacts.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions and quarterly business reviews.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively recommend solutions that support long-term growth.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, sponsorship fulfillment, finance, and event teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Ensure client satisfaction while balancing business objectives and profitability.

Business Development & Innovation

  • Identify emerging market trends and sponsorship opportunities across healthcare, manufacturing, and business events.
  • Evaluate competitive events and recommend new products, pricing strategies, and sales approaches.
  • Support proposal development for new business opportunities and client renewals.
  • Champion innovation in sponsorship, exhibit, and advertising offerings.

Financial Management

  • Own revenue forecasting and portfolio financial performance.
  • Develop annual sales plans and revenue budgets.
  • Monitor performance against revenue goals and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, collections, and overall financial performance for the assigned client portfolio, partnering closely with AR team to resolve outstanding balances, mitigate financial risk, and ensure timely revenue recognition.
  • Ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and CRM management.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably within associations, trade shows, media, sponsorship, or event sales.
  • 5+ years leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing multimillion-dollar revenue portfolios.
  • Experience selling exhibits, sponsorships, advertising, media, or strategic partnerships.
  • Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite clients.
  • Proven ability to develop revenue growth strategies and execute against ambitious sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Travel to all necessary events and executive meetings as required by client portfolio (approximately 20%)

Preferred

  • Experience working with associations or nonprofit organizations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare, manufacturing, or business-to-business events.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Experience leading remote or geographically dispersed teams.

Smithbucklin and 360 Live Media is a hybrid work environment with in-office days established as Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Employees will work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of additional hours based on project deadlines.

Smithbucklin considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate's coursework, training, experience, and certifications, among other considerations. The expected pay for this role is $78,000 - $82,000.
