Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for reviewing financial reports, monitoring accounts, and preparing activity reports and financial forecasts.  This position determines ways to improve profitability, and analyzes markets for business opportunities including expansion, mergers or acquisitions.   • Own the Hefty Storage Consumer P&L, ensuring clear visibility, accountability, and insight into financial performance, key drivers, and risks and opportunities.

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to Marketing and cross‑functional teams

  • Provide financial leadership and analysis via monthly close, reporting, and analytics to explain results and performance drivers.

  • Lead the quarterly forecast process for the Hefty Storage Consumer P&L, incorporating latest business trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process for the Hefty Storage Consumer P&L, aligning financial plans with strategic priorities.

  • Prepare corporate reporting package and support Business Reviews ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear executive‑level storytelling.

  • Lead and support special projects as needed to address evolving business needs.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance policies, processes, and operating methods, and implementing solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging technology where possible.

  • Lead and develop one Senior Financial Analyst, providing coaching, mentorship, and growth opportunities while strengthening analytical capabilities and financial acumen.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 8+ years of related professional and progressive Finance experience in a Corporate environment.
  • 2+ years’ experience supporting sales/marketing/manufacturing activities with solid experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proficient in MS Office with high proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with large, automated financial systems such as SAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Exercise sound judgment with the ability to take calculated risks and make risk/return recommendations.
  • Ability to be discreet with confidential information.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
  • CPA Certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures used in the CPG industry a plus.

Posted Salary RangeUSD $127,700.00 - USD $185,150.00 /H Bonus EligibilityRole is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
