We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager, BU FP&A – Reynolds Cooking & Kitchen Essentials to join our Finance team supporting the Reynolds Kitchens business at Corporate Headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Responsibilities

The Senior Finance Manager, Business Unit FP&A is responsible for leading all financial planning and analysis activities for the Reynolds Kitchens portfolio, with a strong emphasis on business development and strategic decision support. This role goes beyond traditional FP&A by partnering closely with Customer Marketing and Brand Management to support pricing initiatives, new product launches, margin optimization, and category management. The role delivers strategic insights, drives cost discipline, and supports informed decision-making across the business.


Financial Planning & Analysis Leadership

  • Lead the development of the Reynolds Kitchens annual operating plan, forecasting cycles, and ongoing evaluation of risks and opportunities, ensuring accuracy and delivering key insights.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide actionable explanations on key volume drivers (customer and category trends, distribution changes, elasticity impacts), revenue drivers (customer mix, product mix, pricing, trade), and COGS (commodities, conversion, logistics).
  • Responsible for month-end close activities and financial reporting for the Reynolds Kitchens business, ensuring strong accounting accuracy, results integrity, and financial story-telling.
  • Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis for Trade spend and SG&A across the business unit.

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Partner with Customer Marketing and Brand Management to develop financial models supporting pricing actions, new product launches, and category initiatives.
  • Quantify new opportunities and evaluate financial implications of strategic initiatives and business development activities.
  • Provide decision support for pricing changes, promotional strategies, and product portfolio optimization.
  • Identify cost savings and margin expansion opportunities, including SKU rationalization and productivity initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment between financial objectives and commercial strategy.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and influence decision-making across multiple levels of the organization.

Operational Excellence & Analytics

  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes to enhance efficiency and decision quality.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards and internal controls for all Kitchens-related transactions.
  • Leverage data, systems, and technology to improve financial visibility and business insights.

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and develop direct report(s), fostering a high-performance, continuous-improvement culture.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.

Qualifications

We Need You to Have:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in commercial or FP&A roles.
  • 2+ years supporting Sales/Marketing functions with pricing, trade, or customer P&L analysis.
  • Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing people.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and Excel skills, with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, or similar).
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), consumer durables, and/or manufacturing industry experience, required.
  • Experience supporting new product launches and category management initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives within FP&A or commercial finance.

Posted Salary RangeUSD $127,700.00 - USD $185,150.00 /A Bonus EligibilityRole is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
