Job SummaryAs a member of the Fresenius Kabi Learning & Development Team, this role is key in helping to build training & clinical education curricula and programs for the IV Therapy Organization. This business is responsible for a broad portfolio of Infusion Technologies, Pumps, IV Solutions, and Nutrition products, including compounding equipment. This role will include training & education design, development and facilitation for both clinical customers and commercial sales teams.
Works closely with the Director of Commercial L&D, IV Implementation Team, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other Fresenius Kabi internal partners to understand educational needs, business goals, priorities, and opportunities, for training. The Senior Manager will then advise, design, develop, & implement L&D solutions accordingly.
The Senior Manager is an expert in IV Therapy, standards and guidelines, and plays a strategic role in leading, executing and delivery of clinical expertise to the sales, customer implementation and marketing teams. This position also facilitates clinical education with customers as needed within the Education Experience Center for the IV Therapy Portfolio products.
*This position requires working onsite 3 days per week at our U.S. headquarters in Lake Zurich, IL.
• Salary Range: $148,000-155,000.
• Position is eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan with a target of 14% of the base salary.
• Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Fresenius Kabi team members to consult on training approaches that support tactical training and clinical education to ensure products are utilized properly and effectively – including train-the-trainer and superuser training approaches and assets.
  • Design and develop L&D resources and programs that build capabilities to optimize the Fresenius Kabi customer experience and support attainment of business goals.
  • Apply clinical expertise and experience to design and develop training assets for Fresenius Kabi products to increase knowledge base for both internal and external customers.
  • Manage design and development of training assets through the MRL process to ensure effective and compliant training.
  • Lead clinical and healthcare platform content development to create and deploy learning solutions.
  • Development of learner assessments and measure proficiency.  Conduct assessment and validation of individual performance.  Provide remediation plan.
  • Apply principles of adult learning to ensure training effectiveness and access resources to keep up to date on industry best practices.  Apply expertise and experience to adjust content and delivery accordingly.
  • Recommend and manage external vendors to bring high quality services within the set budget.
  • Education of Fresenius Kabi customers at our customer experience education center.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for IV Therapy.
  • Work with sales to support customer needs including the delivery of presentations to potential customers to support the business.

Job Requirements

  • Clinical bachelor’s degree required (Nursing); master’s degree highly desirable. 
  • 10+ years’ experience required including 3 years in healthcare manufacturing industry (medical device, pharma, biotech).
  • Demonstrated agility to quickly learn new products & markets and develop innovative L&D approaches.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the selling process within the healthcare marketplace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
