What We DoFirst American Exchange Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics & Growth Strategy to help lead the next phase of growth for a proven, high-performing marketing organization. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Product Strategy, this newly created role will connect marketing activity to leads, completed exchanges, revenue and broader business outcomes; improve attribution and forecasting; and translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
The Senior Manager will initially lead a two-person performance marketing function and directly manage the Marketing Campaign Manager. Together, the team will combine analytics, business insight and campaign execution to improve the performance of paid-media initiatives, particularly paid search. The Senior Manager will hold overall accountability for results and partner closely with the Campaign Manager to connect platform activity to 1031 Exchange business outcomes, generate deeper campaign insights, and continuously improve targeting, testing, optimization and return on investment.
The role will also advance the team’s use of AI, automation and emerging marketing technologies to improve strategy, execution, measurement and operating efficiency. The ideal candidate is a commercially minded marketing analytics leader who can find the story behind the numbers, lead collaborative teams, challenge assumptions and help leaders determine what to do next.

What You'll Do:

Marketing Analytics, Attribution and Forecasting

  • Analyze lead, customer, order, transaction, revenue and marketing data to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities.
  • Connect marketing programs to lead quality, conversion, completed orders, revenue, customer acquisition cost, cost per order and return on investment.
  • Lead the continued development of attribution, cohort reporting and performance measurement across media platforms, website activity, Salesforce and transaction data.
  • Establish consistent definitions, business logic and methodologies for funnel, channel and revenue reporting.
  • Develop lead, order and revenue forecasts using historical performance, customer behavior, market indicators and appropriate predictive techniques.
  • Translate complex analysis into concise executive summaries, business cases and actionable recommendations.

Performance Media Strategy and Team Leadership

  • Lead the performance media function, integrating analytics, strategy, campaign execution, testing and optimization around shared business goals.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing Campaign Manager to translate campaign, audience, lead, order and revenue data into actionable insights and performance improvements.
  • Own the overall performance of paid search and other performance media, while the Campaign Manager leads day-to-day campaign execution and optimization.
  • Set channel strategy, goals, budgets, priorities and testing plans across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Performance Max, display, DV360, retargeting and emerging acquisition channels.
  • Evaluate media performance based on downstream business outcomes and recommend budget shifts, audience strategies, landing-page improvements and corrective actions.
  • Establish a strong operating rhythm for the function, including shared goals, regular performance reviews, business context, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

AI, Automation and Data Infrastructure

  • Identify and prioritize practical uses of AI and automation across analysis, reporting, attribution, forecasting, audience segmentation, campaign execution and customer engagement.
  • Automate repeatable reporting and marketing-operations processes to improve speed, consistency, scalability and resilience.
  • Improve dashboards, scorecards, automated alerts and data documentation while reducing manual work and key-person dependency.
  • Evaluate emerging marketing and analytics technologies based on business value, data readiness, implementation requirements and measurable return.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations, Salesforce, Product, Technology and enterprise data teams to improve data quality, system integration and workflow automation.
  • Establish appropriate standards for data privacy, validation, governance and human review of AI-generated analysis and consequential decisions.

Growth Strategy and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Marketing leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for profitable growth across audiences, channels, products, partnerships and customer experiences.
  • Recommend where to increase investment, improve execution, test new approaches or discontinue underperforming activity.
  • Serve as the analytical partner to leaders across website, SEO, content, webinars, email, social media, Salesforce and marketing automation.
  • Align Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product and Finance around shared funnel definitions, reporting standards and business outcomes.
  • Influence decisions through collaboration, credibility and sound judgment, and translate technical or analytical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like

  • Improve the reliability and usability of lead-to-order, attribution, revenue and forecasting reporting.
  • Establish clear channel-level customer acquisition cost, cost-per-order and downstream revenue measurement.
  • Improve paid-search and performance-media results through integrated analytics, strategy, execution and disciplined testing.
  • Build a high-performing performance media function that combines strong campaign execution with deeper customer, business and revenue insight.
  • Develop and begin executing a practical roadmap for AI and automation across marketing analytics, execution, measurement and operations.
  • Reduce manual reporting and dependence on individual institutional knowledge through scalable processes, documentation and automation.
  • Deliver analyses and recommendations that lead to measurable changes in strategy, investment, execution or business performance.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Degree emphasis in business, marketing, analytics, economics, finance, statistics, information systems or a related field is preferred.
  • Five to seven years of relevant experience, including a minimum of five years in digital marketing.
  • Experience leading significant analytical initiatives, cross-functional projects and team members is preferred.
  • Demonstrated readiness to operate at a Senior Manager level through strategic influence, executive communication and ownership of high-impact business decisions.
  • Strong experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, growth strategy, revenue operations, business intelligence or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and reconcile data from multiple systems and imperfect datasets and connect marketing activity to financial outcomes.
  • Experience with marketing attribution, cohort analysis, forecasting, customer acquisition cost and digital campaign measurement.
  • Strong working knowledge of paid search and performance media, including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Performance Max.
  • Experience managing employees and leading collaborative teams that integrate analytics, strategy and campaign execution.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data-visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or comparable platforms; strong Excel skills are required.
  • Experience with CRM or Salesforce data; SQL, Google Analytics and marketing automation experience are preferred.
  • Experience applying AI-enabled analytics, automation or marketing technology tools to improve business or marketing performance.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, privacy, governance, validation and appropriate human oversight when using AI and automation.
  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, cross-functional leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in financial services, real estate, title insurance, 1031 exchanges or another transaction-oriented business is helpful but not required.

This is an opportunity to shape a newly created, highly visible leadership role within a successful and collaborative marketing team. Exchange Marketing has built strong digital programs, an engaged audience, a successful education and webinar platform, expanding website and Salesforce capabilities, and increasingly sophisticated performance measurement.

The Senior Manager will help connect and scale those capabilities, lead a high-performing analytics and performance media function, introduce new automation opportunities, and play a critical role in helping the company accelerate growth and outperform the competition. The role offers meaningful business challenges, broad cross-functional influence and the opportunity to grow into wider leadership responsibilities as the organization evolves.
