This role sits at the centre of delivering large-scale transformation programmes for leading organisations across a range of asset‑intensive and operationally complex industries.

As a Senior Manager, you will lead complex consulting engagements, manage senior client relationships, and oversee multidisciplinary teams delivering measurable impact across operational risk, operational excellence, and sustainability. You will play a critical role in ensuring delivery quality while supporting account growth and strengthening dss+’s presence across our priority markets.

You will lead the delivery of transformation programmes, partnering with clients to address complex operational and organisational challenges. You will oversee teams, manage delivery quality, and support clients in achieving sustainable improvements across safety, operational performance, and resilience.

Key accountabilities include:

Leading consulting teams and managing delivery across multiple workstreams

Building strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders

Identifying operational risks and performance gaps and developing practical, value‑focused solutions

Ensuring high‑quality, timely, and impactful project delivery

Coaching, mentoring, and developing consultants and managers

Supporting account growth through proposals, opportunity shaping, and client engagement

Contributing to capability development, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across dss+

Who you are

You bring strong analytical thinking, a curious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in diverse, international environments. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and contributing to meaningful outcomes.

Experience

Management consulting experience with exposure to operational risk, operational excellence, safety, or sustainability

Proven experience leading complex engagements and managing teams

Experience working in or with asset‑intensive, operationally complex industries

Experience building and managing senior client relationships

Capabilities

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple workstreams in complex environments

Commercial awareness and structured problem-solving capability

Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills

Education and languages

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field

MBA or equivalent advanced degree beneficial

Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial

Mobility

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
