Senior Manager, Partner & Field Marketing
Marketing • Hireology • Chicago, IL • Hybrid • Full-Time
Hireology is a 15-year market leader in HR technology, trusted by thousands of businesses to help them hire and build outstanding teams. Recognized by Built In Chicago as a Best Place to Work multiple years running, we’re a hybrid team of committed and optimistic talent looking for the next person to help us build the future of hiring for frontline, high-volume businesses.
As Senior Manager, Partner & Field Marketing, you’ll turn Hireology’s partner ecosystem and field programs into measurable growth channels. You’ll own two motions: marketing the partner products we resell and integrate with, and building reach through our broader ecosystem of associations, influencers, and referral partners. In both, you’ll build high-impact relationships with partners, create joint go-to-market programs that generate net-new opportunities, and lead an event portfolio that converts engagement into pipeline and revenue.
The primary measure of success for this role will be partner and event-sourced pipeline, with additional measures including attach and cross-sell revenue from partner products (including reseller revenue) and program performance across the broader ecosystem.
Partner GTM & Demand Generation
- Develop and execute integrated marketing programs with strategic partners to generate awareness, demand, and pipeline.
- Generate net-new opportunities through partners: identify the highest-potential relationships, influence partners to commit, and build joint programs that create pipeline we would not otherwise have.
- Spend meaningful time in the market with partners, prospects, and industry organizations, building the relationships and credibility that open new doors.
- Treat each partnership individually, designing the right motion for each one instead of applying a one-size-fits-all program template.
- Grow revenue from the partner products we resell and integrate with through new-logo attach and customer cross-sell programs.
- Build ecosystem programs with associations, industry influencers, and referral partners that put Hireology in front of new audiences and generate net-new pipeline.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Lifecycle Marketing to identify and engage the accounts most likely to benefit from partner products.
- Help build a scalable referral motion that makes it easy for Hireology and our partners to identify, share, and act on opportunities.
Partner Communication & Enablement
- Take positioning and messaging from Product Marketing and make sure partners understand Hireology, who we serve, what our product does, and why customers choose us.
- Ensure Hireology is represented consistently across partner channels, campaigns, marketplaces, and co-branded programs.
- Adapt campaigns and messaging into the resources partners need to identify opportunities and bring Hireology into customer conversations.
- Equip Hireology Sales and Customer Success teams to understand partner products, identify cross-sell and referral opportunities, and bring partners into deals when appropriate.
- Partner with Product Marketing on integration launches, product messaging, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
Partner Performance & Optimization
- Measure partner marketing performance against pipeline, revenue, engagement, and conversion goals.
- Work with Revenue Operations to improve partner lead routing, attribution, and reporting.
- Evaluate partner programs and investments to identify where to scale, optimize, or shift resources.
- Bring partner and customer insights back to Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to improve our broader go-to-market strategy.
- Partner closely with Business Development on the activation and growth of strategic partner relationships.
Field Marketing, Events & Team Leadership
- Own the strategy for Hireology’s field marketing and event portfolio, including which events we invest in, how we tier them, and what each one is expected to return.
- Manage, coach, and develop an Events Specialist, connecting day-to-day execution to lead and pipeline goals.
- Bring partner, field, and event activity together into a single strategy, since many of our events run through the partner network.
- Curate high-touch, strategic programs end to end, from audience and content through outreach, and hold a high bar for the attendee experience.
- Manage a significant event and field marketing budget with clear strategic intent, and make disciplined calls about where to scale back.
- 6+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, field marketing, or demand generation in a B2B SaaS environment, including direct, external ownership of partner relationships.
- Experience developing partner or co-marketing programs that generated measurable pipeline or revenue.
- A demonstrated track record of generating net-new opportunities and pipeline through partners, not simply supporting programs that already existed.
- Exceptional influence and relationship-building skills, with the presence, persistence, and credibility to get partners to commit and act.
- Experience building or reinventing partner motions, rather than maintaining established, cookie-cutter programs. This role is externally focused and opportunity-driven, not internally focused or administrative.
- Experience owning event strategy and budget, ideally including high-touch executive or customer programs.
- Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring a direct report, with the ability to operate as a player-coach who both sets strategy and executes.
- Strong understanding of demand generation and the ability to connect marketing programs to business outcomes.
- Experience marketing partner products (resell, integration, or marketplace) and building ecosystem programs (associations, influencers, referrals).
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to translate positioning into effective partner-facing content and campaigns.
- Comfortable working across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and external partner organizations.
- Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms to measure marketing performance.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple partner initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in HR technology, frontline hiring, or Hireology’s core vertical markets is a plus.
- Unlimited paid time off and mental health days
- Health, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage from day one
- 401(k) with company match
- Award-winning culture
- Hybrid office downtown Chicago
- External learning budget
- Amazing growth opportunities
- Base Salary: $110,000–$120,000 (Plus Company Bonus)
