Overview:

SageSure is seeking a Senior Manager, People Analytics and Insights to build and scale a modern analytics capability within the People function. This role reports to the Director, People Strategy and Operations. 

This role is responsible for establishing foundational reporting, defining key workforce metrics, and delivering insights that inform strategic decision-making for our business leaders. You will operate as a hands-on builder, creating structure from fragmented data and evolving capabilities over time, including increased automation and more advanced approaches where sensible (e.g., AI-enabled analytics). 

You will partner closely with People leadership, People Systems, FP&A, and Corporate IT to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and effectively used to drive decisions.


What you’d be doing: 

Core Analytics & Reporting 

  • Establish core People reporting (e.g., headcount, attrition, hiring, workforce composition) 
  • Define and standardize key metrics 
  • Create scalable dashboards  

 Business Insights & Decision Support 

  • Deliver regular and ad hoc analyses to support business and functional stakeholders to make informed hiring, retention, and workforce planning decisions  
  • Translate complex or incomplete data into clear, actionable insights 
  • Support workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy through data 
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the workforce 

Data Foundation & Integration 

  • Identify gaps in current data and systems 
  • Partner closely with People Systems team to ensure data integrity and accessibility 
  • Collaborate with Finance and other administrative operations functions to align workforce data with broader business insights 
  • Pull together data across various sources to provide a more holistic view of organizational performance 
  • Improve consistency and reliability of data across systems 

Analytics Capability Build 

  • Introduce tools and approaches that improve speed, automation, and depth of analysis 
  • Begin incorporating AI-enabled solutions where appropriate (e.g., predictive insights, automation) 
  • Improve reporting capabilities 
  • Support stakeholders in using data effectively 
  • Help improve data literacy and adoption of reporting tools across the function 

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • 8+ years in People Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field 
  • Experience building or significantly improving reporting and analytics capabilities 
  • Experience working with fragmented, imperfect or evolving data and systems environments 
  • Track record of translating data into insights that influence business decisions 

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Domo) 
  • Strong SQL and data manipulation skills 
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, Rippling) 
  • Experience evaluating and implementing AI/automation tools in analytics  

Highly preferred candidates also have: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and prioritize effectively 
  • Clear communication and data storytelling skills 
  • Ownership mentality and execution focus 
  • Ability to prioritize, pace and sequence
