Senior Manager, Sprout People Team

We are looking for an experienced and creative People Leader to help us carry on that tradition. As the Senior Manager of the People Team, you’ll play a key role in building, developing, and engaging our incredible teams across the United States as well as Canada, India, Europe, Australia, and Asia. We’re looking for someone with significant experience running both HR and Talent Acquisition teams and is comfortable pivoting between high level strategy and day-to-day roll up your sleeves as the situation requires.

Responsibilities
- Develop Sprout’s People Business Partner program with the goal of providing pro-active advice and consultative services to leaders and teams across the business.
- Lead our talented recruitment team with a focus on pro-actively building a high-caliber talent pipeline and winning over every candidate every time.
- Get to the root cause of complex, business and people challenges and recommend solutions that take into account strategic business objectives.
- Build trust with employees across all layers of the organization and be an active listener and effective problem solver of people issues while aligning with expected business outcomes.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to mentor and coach, while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
- Develop and implement Sprout Social’s people policies and practices to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws
Desired Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in key HR leadership roles including generalist experience as well as leading an in-house recruiting team in a high-growth environment
- Impeccable communication skills including written and verbal communication as well as coaching, change management, influence and more formal presentations.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people strategy that drives business results
- Successful track record of working as an effective coach across all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to think and plan strategically and tactically
- Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
- An approach of embracing continuous improvement, a receptiveness to feedback and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, flexible and high growth environment.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment, wage and salary laws and regulations.
- Experience with technology-driven organizations (e.g. SaaS) a plus
- Global experience preferred, not required
