Job Description SummaryThe Senior Manager, Treasury Operations COE leads the global execution and control environment for treasury transactions, including payments, settlements, intercompany netting, and operational reconciliation. This role is accountable for driving operational excellence through standardization, exception-based management, and robust control discipline across a high-volume, multi-ERP, multi-bank environment. This leader will drive the shift from manual processing to an exception-based model, ensuring the team acts as a strategic engine for the business and a center of excellence for global treasury activities.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global Treasury Operations COE, including payment execution, complex settlement processes, and operational reconciliation.
  • Apply Lean methodologies across the entire treasury operations value stream—from transaction execution to operational reconciliation —to eliminate manual handoffs and improve process velocity.
  • Drive the transition from high-touch manual processing to an efficient, exception-based management model.
  • Ensure timely, accurate execution of payments and settlements across all global operations.
  • Maintain strong control discipline, including break resolution, payment recalls, and transaction monitoring.
  • Implement and manage a robust Risk-Based Monitoring framework to proactively detect anomalies, mitigate fraud, and manage settlement risk across all treasury activities.
  • Standardize operational workflows for complex treasury instruments to achieve functional role purity, ensuring a clear separation between execution, control, and reporting.
  • Build strong partnerships with business segments to eliminate manual payment requests at the source and improve upstream process quality.
  • Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to strengthen controls, improve governance, and ensure alignment with global policy and regulatory requirements.

  • Change Agility:  Skilled at managing steady-state performance while navigating the phased transition of complex scopes toward an end-to-end maturity model.  Ability to partner with business and control functions in a complex, global environment.
  • Architect of high-performance team structures that clarify ownership and minimize cross-functional overlap.
  • Experienced with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma).

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in treasury operations, payments, or finance operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global, high-volume teams.
  • Strong understanding of payment lifecycles, treasury controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

#LI-Remote - This is a remote position

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $149,900.00 and $249,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
