At Colibri Group, culture is at the heart of everything we do. Our values: Love, Joy, Boldness, Teamwork, and Curiosity help guide how we work together, support our customers, and make a difference in the communities we serve.
SimpleNursing, proudly part of the Colibri Group family, helps nursing students succeed in school, prepare for the NCLEX, and confidently begin their careers. Through engaging content, innovative learning tools, and a deep understanding of the nursing student journey, we meet learners where they are and help them reach the finish line.
About the Role
SimpleNursing is looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing to own the day-to-day execution and performance of our earned and owned marketing channels, including SEO, content, lifecycle marketing, website experiences, landing pages, and conversion rate optimization.
You will turn broader growth priorities into clear channel roadmaps, campaigns, tests, and measurable improvements. You will identify what needs to happen, personally drive the work forward, and collaborate with Product, Paid Media, Creative, Analytics, Engineering, and external partners to bring ideas to life.
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant ownership and visibility. You will not simply oversee an agency, coordinate projects, or hand execution to someone else. You will be close to the platforms, the customer journey, the performance data, and the work itself.
This role is ideal for a hands-on growth marketer who enjoys improving how customers discover, engage with, and ultimately choose a product and who can clearly demonstrate the impact of the programs and experiments they have led.
Come Build What’s Next
- Own the roadmap and hands-on execution across SimpleNursing’s earned and owned marketing channels, including SEO, content, lifecycle email, landing pages, website experiences, and conversion rate optimization
- Grow organic acquisition by identifying search opportunities, improving existing content, developing high-intent resources, and partnering with Engineering on technical SEO improvements
- Build and optimize lifecycle programs across onboarding, nurture, promotional, and re-engagement journeys, using student stage, behavior, and engagement signals to create more relevant experiences
- Improve conversion across landing pages, trial sign-up flows, and content-to-purchase pathways by developing hypotheses, launching structured tests, and using results to guide the next iteration
- Analyze customer journeys and funnel performance using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Hotjar, or Microsoft Clarity, identifying where students disengage and prioritizing improvements based on business impact
- Partner across Paid Media, Product, Creative, Analytics, Engineering, and external agencies or contractors while communicating clear priorities, performance updates, learnings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Six or more years of experience in B2C growth, digital marketing, demand generation, or a similar environment, with meaningful ownership across earned and owned channels
- Hands-on experience across several areas of the role, including SEO, content marketing, lifecycle email, landing pages, website optimization, and conversion rate optimization
- A track record of personally launching campaigns, experiments, webpages, or customer journeys and using measurable results to improve acquisition, engagement, conversion, or retention
- Strong analytical judgment and experience translating performance data, customer behavior, and testing results into clear actions and priorities
- The ability to work effectively across Product, Paid Media, Creative, Analytics, Engineering, and leadership teams while influencing decisions without direct authority
- Strong communication and executive presence, including the ability to explain what you tested, why you tested it, what happened, and what you recommend doing next
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
- Ahrefs, Semrush, or a similar SEO platform
- Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or a similar behavior analytics tool
- Email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle automation platforms
- Content management systems and landing-page-building tools
- A/B testing, reporting, dashboard, and AI productivity tools
- Own a meaningful part of the SimpleNursing growth engine and see the connection between your work and student acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention
- Work across the full customer journey, from the moment a nursing student discovers SimpleNursing through the experiences that help them become an engaged customer
- Bring ideas to life through content, campaigns, webpages, customer journeys, and experiments rather than being removed from the execution
- Partner with talented colleagues across Product, Paid Media, Creative, Analytics, Engineering, and Operations while maintaining clear ownership of your channels
- Join a growing business where your judgment, curiosity, and ability to identify new opportunities will have a visible impact
- Support future nurses during important moments in their education and careers through products designed to help them learn, grow, and succeed
