The Senior National Relationship Manager assists in managing the Federal Reserve Financial Service (FRFS)'s national account customer relationships with payments service providers. The incumbent is responsible for generating sales revenue and achieving strategic targets related to FRFS - including FedNow, checks, FedACH, Fedwire Funds and Securities and electronic access (FedLine). Through identification of needs they will work with the National Account and FRFS leadership to develop customized business solutions to expand the use of FRFS. In addition, the role requires coordination of operational and technical support in response to the needs of the National Account customers. May provide input on training, supervision, goal development and guidance to staff. May make hiring recommendations and evaluate and/or provide feedback regarding staff performance. May provide work direction to others and may check and approve others' work. The level of work required is considered advanced and staff must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision. This job does not have any direct reports.
Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in the sales and promotion of new and existing products and services to achieve system sales goals
  • Maintain an integrated and coordinated face-to-face sales calling program that includes effectively communicating with management officials across multiple areas within the customer's organization
  • Consult with assigned National Account customers to determine financial service needs to support their strategic goals
  • Actively support assigned National Account customers with activities like the development of service proposals, the initiation of service for new customers and support for non-routine customer problems
  • Communicate qualitative data on sales calls to support product development and market research initiatives
  • Provide guidance to sales support staff regarding technical analysis of customer information, problem resolution and quality assurance
  • Identifies opportunities for improvements in services/products or the quality of service based on customer interactions
  • Perform other tasks as assigned


Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as noted below
  • 7 to 10 plus years of direct sales experience
  • Independent thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Possesses and applies both broad and specific knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the field of sales to the completion of assignments
  • Strong knowledge of the Federal Reserve System and the products, services, practices and procedures of FRFS
  • Possess a high level of technical skills, product knowledge, and awareness of competitive forces within the Federal Reserve System
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively to accomplish the goals and objectives of FRFS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Relocation may be desired, but not required

  • Ability and willingness to travel up 60%
