Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Windows & Infrastructure Engineer that combines endpoint support and DC Operations orchestration. The ideal candidate will have experience in cross-functional collaborations with other technical and non-technical teams with a proven ability to deliver on complex, time-sensitive projects. This role is critical to ensuring the speed, reliability, and scalability of our trading infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate data center operations work, including racking and cabling of servers, networking equipment and other related data center work.
- Has an understanding of data center power utilization and planning.
- Understanding of hardware for lab testing and lab setup.
- Drive execution on strategic infrastructure projects, hardware deployments, migrations, and performance optimizations.
- Build out and maintain Windows workstations, including hardware configuration, upgrades, and replacements
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with engineering, trading, and support teams
- Develop and enforce best practices for hardware lifecycle, racking/stacking, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards for security and resilience
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data center operations or infrastructure engineering
- 3+ years of Windows support.
- Strong technical knowledge of servers, networking equipment, cabling, and monitoring systems
- Ability to thrive in a high-stakes, highly collaborative environment with a strong sense of ownership
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Experience in trading or other latency-sensitive environments is a plus
- Willingness to work on call and the occasional after hours work.
