Job Summary

Independence Pet Holdings is seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to serve as a centralized performance marketing leader across its portfolio of pet insurance brands. Operating within a shared-services model, this role provides strategic guidance, performance expertise, and growth recommendations that help brands maximize customer acquisition and marketing efficiency.

This individual will partner closely with Brand, Aggregator, Analytics, and Commercial leadership teams to evaluate performance, diagnose opportunities, influence investment decisions, and shape acquisition strategy across search, social, aggregator/affiliate, and emerging digital channels. Success requires strong cross-functional leadership, the ability to influence without direct authority, and a portfolio-level perspective that balances the needs of individual brands with enterprise growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Growth Strategy & Performance Leadership

• Serve as the centralized performance marketing expert across the IPH portfolio, providing strategic guidance to Brand, Aggregator, Commercial, and Executive Leadership teams.

• Evaluate performance across brands, acquisition channels, and customer journeys to identify growth opportunities, investment priorities, and performance risks.

• Analyze customer acquisition economics, including media efficiency, customer

acquisition cost, lifetime value, and return on marketing investment, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

• Assess how owned brands, aggregator partners, and acquisition channels interact across the portfolio, identifying opportunities to improve overall enterprise performance while minimizing overlap and cannibalization.

• Partner with stakeholders to shape acquisition strategies, budget allocation

decisions, and growth priorities across the portfolio.

• Support growth strategy for IPH-owned aggregators and external marketplace

partners by evaluating acquisition performance, funnel effectiveness, and

expansion opportunities.

• Monitor competitive activity, marketplace dynamics, and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities that impact portfolio growth.

• Partner with Analytics teams to strengthen attribution, forecasting, incrementality testing, and performance measurement frameworks

Channel Strategy, Optimization & Innovation

• Lead performance marketing strategy across paid search, paid social,

affiliate/aggregator, and emerging acquisition channels.

• Partner with internal teams, agencies, and platform partners to drive best-in-class campaign execution, optimization, and performance improvement.

• Identify and prioritize opportunities across audience targeting, bidding strategies, creative, landing pages, customer journeys, and conversion optimization.

• Develop acquisition strategies that connect awareness, consideration, and

conversion efforts into a cohesive growth framework.

• Evaluate new acquisition channels, technologies, and marketing capabilities that can expand customer acquisition capacity and improve efficiency.

• Monitor the evolving impact of AI-powered search, answer engines, agentic

experiences, and emerging discovery platforms, developing recommendations for how IPH should adapt its acquisition strategies.

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven marketing technologies, automation, and new acquisition models to drive competitive advantage and long-term growth.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related quantitative field.

• 6–10+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, digital acquisition, media strategy, or related disciplines.

• Deep expertise in paid search and paid social marketing, including platform

management and optimization.

• Strong understanding of attribution methodologies, incrementality testing,

measurement frameworks, and marketing analytics.

• Experience managing or influencing multi-million-dollar media budgets.

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose performance issues and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.

• Strong understanding of customer acquisition funnels, conversion optimization, and digital marketing economics.

• Experience working with agencies, platform partners, and cross-functional

stakeholders.

• Familiarity with marketplace, aggregator, affiliate, comparison shopping, or lead generation business models preferred.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
