This role is ideal for an analytical and business-savvy analyst with expertise in both strategic pricing design and technical implementation within the logistics and transportation industry. Skilled at transforming data into actionable insights, building automated pricing models, and developing strategies that improve profitability, market competitiveness, and operational efficiency. You must be located near the Ready Logistics headquarters or the Cox Atlanta headquarters.
Job Summary
  • Develop and execute comprehensive pricing strategies that align with company goals, balancing profitability, market share, and customer retention.
  • Build and maintain predictive pricing models using SQL, data visualization platforms, or Excel to forecast demand, evaluate margins, and optimize rate structures.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure pricing recommendations support strategic objectives and reflect real-time market conditions.
  • Determining pricing optimizations based on customer segments, geography, competition, and other value drivers.
  • Analyze industry trends, capacity fluctuations, and competitor behaviors to proactively adjust pricing frameworks and bid strategies.
  • Monitor pricing health of the business and consumer segment performance; identify patterns, trends, issues, and challenges, and develop data-informed insights and recommendations for corrective action.
  • Design and implement automated pricing tools, dashboards, and APIs to streamline quoting, improve accuracy, and help the company quickly respond to market changes and trends.
  • Conduct "what-if" and sensitivity analyses to model the impact of market changes, fuel costs, and customer mix on pricing strategy and margin outcomes.
  • Present data-driven recommendations and pricing performance reports to senior leadership to guide long-term pricing and revenue strategies.

Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field; or a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience in a related field with no degree.
  • Specific knowledge of database platforms like Oracle, SQL Server a plus.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization and reporting platforms such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proven ability to transform data into business insights. Uses logic and intuition to make inferences about the meaning of data and arrive at a conclusion.
  • Able to tell a story with data - i.e., use what you put together technically and share it in a compelling way to varying audience members.
  • Work Ethic: Self-starter who possesses a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
  • Problem Solving: Assess situations to identify causes, generate solutions, and make recommendations to resolve the problem.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate in a clear and timely manner. Comfortable speaking to various levels, from front-line team members to executives. Articulates the implications of trends for own department or team as well as for the broader organization.
  • Presentation Skills: Skilled knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques; ability to present information to individuals and groups with an appropriate degree of formality.
  • Experience with ETL (extract, transform, and load) is a plus.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally
  • Proven track record in operating in a support capacity in a high-functioning sales environment.
  • Influence: Ability to operate and work across functional groups in a matrixed organization.

USD 81,400.00 - 122,000.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $81,400.00 - $122,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
