What you’ll be doing...

As the Senior Pricing Manager for GPU as a Service (GPUaaS), you will serve as the commercial and strategic pricing authority for next-generation AI/HPC (High-Performance Computing) infrastructure and cloud acceleration solutions. In this role, you will design and govern go-to-market pricing structures for cutting-edge GPU clusters, colocation compute capacity and integrated ultra-low-latency network connectivity.

You will partner closely with Product, Enterprise Sales and Finance to develop market-leading pricing frameworks that balance competitive win rates with robust gross margin expansion. You will also lead deal desk evaluations for complex, high-value enterprise AI agreements, structuring multi-year reservations, private clusters, and hybrid cloud commitments.

Your primary mission is to develop innovative pricing strategies for revenue share models with ecosystem partners and ensure that Verizon captures a greater portion of the value created by the assets made available to partners/customers.

  • Establish GPUaaS Commercial Frameworks: Develop and refine standardized and custom pricing models for GPUaaS offerings, including dedicated bare-metal GPU clusters, multi-tenant virtualized instances, reserved instances (1-year/3-year commits) and on-demand burst compute. Monitor GPU utilization rates and design pricing incentives to align customer demand with available hardware footprint and capacity constraints.
  • Lead Complex Deal Structuring: Act as the primary pricing strategist and deal desk lead for enterprise sales opportunities
  • Unit Economics & P&L Modeling: Build and maintain pricing tools and sensitivity and scenario models that include Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), CapEx, IRR, NPV, payback periods, discounted cash flows and colocation expenses.
  • Delegation of Authority (DOA) & Governance: Facilitate formal pricing committee reviews and executive approval briefs for non-standard transactions. Prepare clear, executive-level summaries of deal economics, risks, assumptions and recommended pricing positions.
  • Market & Competitor Intelligence: Continually monitor pricing dynamics across hyperscale cloud providers, specialized GPU cloud providers and private hosting operators. Benchmark pricing against hardware generation shifts.
  • Contractual Alignment & Negotiation Support: Partner with Legal to draft commercial terms, SLAs, capacity utilization commitments, penalty structures, and ramp schedules within Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs). Support negotiation strategy by evaluating impacts of pricing and other contractual concessions.
  • Performance Tracking & Analytics: Monitor deal pipeline conversion, realized average selling price, churn and renewal trends. Partner with Finance, Sales, and Product on forecast assumptions, revenue planning and portfolio-deal analysis to improve pricing discipline, win-rate effectiveness and return performance over time.

This position can be located in other valid Verizon locations.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Six or more years of progressive experience in commercial pricing, deal desk management, product finance or Cloud FinOps.
  • Three or more years of experience pricing consumption-based, subscription and reserved compute contracts within a hyperscaler, cloud service provider or telecommunications enterprise.
  • Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling and the management of complex contractual agreements, specifically those involving cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud computing economics, data center infrastructure or IaaS business models.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across commercial, technical and financial teams.
  • Strong business judgment and experience operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Excellent presentation and executive communication skills with the ability to distill technical and financial concepts into strategic decision points.
  • Pricing experience including strong understanding of pricing principles, profitability analysis, and investment return metrics. Experience balancing strategic growth objectives with disciplined commercial decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with enterprise sales teams to close complex, multi-million-dollar technology or infrastructure contracts.
  • Minimal travel may be required.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s Degree or MBA in Finance, Strategy, or quantitative field
  • Proven track record of developing scalable pricing governance and automated deal desk approval workflows from the ground up.
