Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven SR Manager, Procurement with a strong track record in cost savings and category management. This role will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple locations, manage complex contracts, and optimize supplier performance to support business goals. One focus of this position will be working with the R&D and Engineering team to support sourcing, bidding, and securing supply of solutions for warehousing to include but not limited to rack, MHE, robots, and other solutions.
Work Location: Remote with travel if living outside of Atlanta or hybrid with travel if living within the Atlanta area.
Work Schedule: First shift, Monday through Friday with the ability to work outside of scheduled hours based on business needs.
Travel: If the selected employee lives outside of the John’s Creek, GA area there will be a requirement of 70-80% travel with on-site presence in John's Creek, GA 2 weeks per month in order to partner with our Engineering and R&D teams. If the selected employee lives within the Atlanta area the travel is 25%.
Compensation: Attractive annual salary range of $125,000 – $140,000, plus a yearly performance-based bonus. Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement
- Receive, evaluate, execute and manage procurement requests of goods and services for ID Logistics locations in the US (with some potential future projects in the Americas).
- Ensure that all Procurement Activities comply with Procurement policies.
- Represents procurement team for cross-functional activities within the organization
- Maintain systems to show accurate details of supplier contracts, purchasing agreements, certificates, etc.
- Addresses vendor quality issues, handling complaints and material shortages as directed for categories.
- Issuing status reports on projects - reporting weekly reports, statistics, etc., or as needed.
- Create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for other procurement activities as needed.
- Reviews and approves or rejects new vendor requests in conjunction with global sourcing policies and procurement guidelines.
- Monitors vendor contracts and agreements for compliance and auditing
- Other activities as required to support purchasing functions.
Sourcing/Category Management Support
- Preparing and distributing Request for Quote packages as directed.
- Identification, selection, evaluation and development of Suppliers.
- Managing/monitoring consultant agreements, NDAs, and insurance certificates.
- Leading negotiations with suppliers before PO creation.
- Value analysis, process chain analysis.

Preferred QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience plus education required.
- 6+ years of progressive strategic procurement and category management experience specifically within warehouse and material handling capital equipment, including rack systems, material handling equipment (MHE), automation, and/or robotics.
- Experience including leading RFQs, supplier selection, and complex contract negotiations in partnership with Engineering and R&D.
- Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Experience managing procurement across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4 Hana procurement modules preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading strategic vendor contract negotiations for goods and services in excess of $1M USD.
- Experience with vendor contract management including contract creation, work with legal team, and contract retention policies.
- Experience in all Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio), and advanced knowledge of Excel including Pivot tables, calculations, data parsing, and charting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, Business, Finance.
- Experience in the warehousing or logistics industry.
- Procurement or supply chain certifications (e.g., CPSM).
- Experience working closely with engineering and R&D.
