In this highly cross-functional role, you'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to gauge opportunities, guide strategy, and inform decisions with data. You’ll explore new datasets, build prototypes, monitor performance, and measure the product impact. This role offers a unique chance to take a leading role in delivering on an ambitious product roadmap using data to enhance the operational efficiency of healthcare providers.

  • Design experiments to answer business questions, including defining key metrics and applying appropriate statistical techniques to analyze results
  • Prototype analytics solutions and data products to accelerate product development
  • Translate analytical findings into compelling data stories through clear visualizations that help stakeholders quickly grasp trends, patterns, and implications
  • Becoming an expert in our data stack: how we get the data from customers, how we normalize that data, and how internal teams and customers consume that data
  • Building, maintaining, and testing data models which support reporting and analytics.
  • Uphold high standards for code quality and documentation, while contributing to a culture of peer review and continuous learning
What You Bring
  • 3-5+ years' experience as a data analyst or product data scientist (or, if your y-intercept is lower, evidence that your slope is super steep)
  • Strong technical skills: querying data with SQL, transforming data with dbt to shorten time to insight, performing analysis with python, and communicating findings with compelling data visualizations
  • Masters in statistics or other relevant fields preferred
  • Ownership: Build and own features from start to finish.
  • Strategic mindset: strong ability to connect analytics to business understanding and provide actionable insights.
  • Scrappiness: Navigate ambiguity effectively, understanding when it’s necessary to piece solutions together on the fly, and be able to do so.
  • Product focus: How can we maximize the utility and value we deliver to our end users?
  • Familiarity with experiment design and statistical analysis
Nice To Haves
  • Experience with health system clinical and/or revenue cycle data is preferred
Our Tech Stack
  • Data Visualization: Hex and Evidence
