Job Description

As the  Product Management Manager/Senior Product Manager supporting Moen’s B2B business, you will guide and support product and category teams in delivering meaningful outcomes for professional customers, including distributors, contractors, builders, and trade partners.

This role brings together strategic planning, category leadership, and people development to ensure thoughtful product lifecycle management and sustainable growth across B2B channels.

You will help shape product strategies that reflect customer needs in the field, uncover opportunities within the professional market, and support successful product launches, while fostering a collaborative, engaged, and high-performing team environment.

POSITION LOCATION: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. The campus offers vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.

What you will be doing:

Strategic Leadership

  • Support and guide product and category teams in achieving P&L objectives while encouraging shared success and innovation
  • Develop, mentor, and support team members in building their skills and career growth
  • Develop and maintain a 3-year product roadmap aligned with Moen’s B2B strategy and customer needs
  • Partner closely with Global Product Development to align priorities, timing, and execution
  • Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for professional customers
  • Help define value propositions, pricing approaches, and margin expectations that reflect B2B channel dynamics
  • Contribute to annual strategic planning in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Identify customer needs across distributors, contractors, and builders
  • Partner with Channel Marketing to co-create thoughtful go-to-market strategies tailored to B2B audiences
  • Collaborate across functions including Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Branding to support successful product launches

Category Leadership

  • Support the development and evolution of Category Leadership Plans (CLP) for B2B segments
  • Analyze market insights and field feedback to better understand opportunities and unmet needs
  • Encourage alignment and adoption of category strategies across the organization
  • Partner with Market Research to interpret findings and elevate the voice of the professional customer
  • Contribute insights to product line reviews and broader business unit planning
  • Recommend pricing approaches that balance customer value, channel expectations, and business goals
  • Help address business challenges impacting short- and long-term performance

Process Leadership

  • Contribute to building and improving efficient, collaborative product management processes
  • Partner with Program Management to support smooth and timely product development
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Industrial Design, Marketing, and Supply Chain throughout launches
  • Support product lifecycle management, including launches and thoughtful transitions of discontinued products
  • Partner with Innovation and Consumer and Market Insights (CMI) to define and scope projects
  • Ensure alignment of initiatives with brand, channel, and business priorities
  • Support development of clear and helpful product training materials for sales teams, distributors, and customers

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across teams to maintain alignment on goals and priorities
  • Partner with Marketing Services and Digital to create engaging B2B-focused product content and tools
  • Collaborate with Global Brand Marketing to align product strategies with Moen brand direction
  • Support delivery of product training and content in partnership with Channel Marketing and Sales teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of product management experience including experience with construction, home improvement, or durable goods products.
  • Experience with wholesale and big-box retail distribution channels.
  • Experience supporting new product development initiatives from concept through launch using a stage-gate or similar product development process.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical product concepts and help translate them into clear customer value.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to support collaborative decision-making.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, marketing, sales, and finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting and developing team members.

 

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $150,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
