The Senior Program Manager leads complex cross-functional programs, managing stakeholders, risks, resources, and ensuring project success aligned with organizational goals.
The Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and managing complex programs within the Enterprise PMO. This role requires a professional with experience driving complex cross-functional initiatives, managing stakeholders, and delivering successful project outcomes. The Program Manager will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and closing programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
What your day could consist of:
- Program Leadership: Lead and manage complex programs from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Experience across technology, back office, go-to-market, and new product launch programs.
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, project teams, and external vendors.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, ensuring proactive resolution of issues.
- Communication: Provide regular program updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, status updates, and risk assessments.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage program resources, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program management efficiency and effectiveness.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring deliverables meet program requirements.
What is needed:
- 12+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) certification.
- Strong understanding of program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Mastery in project management tools and software, Smartsheet and Jira are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with enterprise-level project management tools.
