Summary:

Bamboo Health is building a team of compassionate clinicians and leaders who are committed to improving care access to those in most need. We are seeking a seasoned, highly motivated Senior Project Manager who can bridge clinical, operational, and technical workstreams across provider and payor organizations. This role owns end-to-end project delivery—from initial scoping through go-live and post-launch stabilization—while consulting directly with customers on workflow design to drive results and accelerate implementation timelines. In addition to leading individual implementations, you will manage a portfolio of partner engagements, balancing competing priorities, risks, and stakeholder needs while helping scale implementation best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of project management and client success experience, deep healthcare delivery knowledge, and the judgment to work independently with minimal oversight, comfortably tailoring communication across a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the full implementation lifecycle for new provider or payor partners, working independently and with minimal oversight to ensure all milestones, deliverables, and outcomes are met on time and within scope.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for external partners, including health systems, provider networks, and payors.
  • Partner with customers and internal clinical and operational teams to design workflows, staffing models, referral pathways, and escalation processes that support successful implementation and accelerate time to value.
  • Collaborate with data integration and IT teams to enable connectivity with EHRs, care management platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Guide partners through workflow changes, training, and adoption planning to drive results and ensure smooth go-live transitions.
  • Maintain project plans and status reports, as well as risks and issues logs.
  • Tailor communication of progress, dependencies, and mitigation plans across audiences, from junior project managers to executive leadership, both internally and externally.
  • Capture lessons learned and feedback to refine implementation methodology, mentor less experienced project managers, and accelerate future rollouts.
  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent implementations, balancing timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder priorities to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify repetitive tasks and partner with team leads to implement scalable automation solutions.

What Success Looks Like…

In 3 months…

  • Take ownership of at least one active implementation, serving as the primary customer contact while maintaining accurate status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, or implementation efficiency.
  • Identify at least one opportunity in your role to pilot or apply AI or automation (e.g., streamlining a task, summarizing data, generating content).

In 6 months…

  • Independently manage a portfolio of concurrent implementations, consistently delivering key milestones on time and within scope.
  • Lead partners through workflow design, operational readiness, training, adoption planning, and go-live execution.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers while mentoring less experienced project managers and contributing implementation best practices across the team.

In 12 months…

  • Deliver multiple successful go-lives with measurable post-launch stabilization, such as partner adoption targets met and time to value shortened compared with baseline.
  • Capture lessons learned across your implementations and contribute at least two lasting improvements to our implementation playbook, templates, or tools.
  • Be recognized as a go-to leader for complex implementations, influencing customer outcomes, supporting executive-level partner relationships, and helping elevate implementation excellence across the organization.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of combined experience in healthcare project management and account/client success, preferably with exposure to behavioral health, care coordination, or population health in technology enabled services.
  • Proven success independently leading complex implementations or partnerships involving provider organizations, payors, or health IT vendors, with minimal oversight.
  • Experience with EHR integrations, referral management workflows, or value-based care initiatives strongly preferred.
  • A consultative, proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and independently drive projects forward in dynamic environments.
  • Strongly empathetic with a keen desire to reduce barriers to behavioral health and social services for the underserved.
  • Ability to convey technical information and tailor communication across a range of audiences and levels, from junior project managers to clinicians, administrators, and C-level executives, exercising strong, independent judgment in what and how to communicate with customers.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional, PMI) is preferred.
  • Comfort using or learning AI-supported tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot, or role-specific tools) to improve daily workflows.
  • A forward-thinking, curious mindset with an openness to experimenting with new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and creativity in designing solutions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
  • The ability to travel periodically for work.

What You Get:

  • Join one of the most innovative healthcare technology companies in the country.
  • Have the autonomy to build something with an enthusiastically supportive team.
  • Learn from working at the highest levels and on the most strategic priorities of the company, including from world class investors and advisors.
  • Receive competitive compensation, including health, dental, vision and other benefits.
