Ameresco is currently seeking experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Construction Team in providing leadership, planning and construction management expertise for the scheduling, execution and successful delivery of our multimillion-dollar construction project. This position will be based on a project site in Saint Paul, MN.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple project managers at multiple other project sites.

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of a construction site and is responsible for the project's success.

  • Responsible for Quality Control paperwork and inspections.

  • Responsible for Site Safety enforcement, paperwork and inspections.

  • Trade layout skills to ensure accurate layout of all subcontractors work in accordance with project plans and specifications.

  • Inspect the work progress on a regular basis to ensure that all aspects of the project are on track.

  • Lead subcontractors and achieve production goals.

  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the trades and scopes of work to ensure that the correct means and methods of construction are being used.

  • Reviews schedule during project to ensure deadlines are met, notifies appropriate parties of all delays or potential delays, and documents delays.

  • Ensures compliance with all building codes, local ordinances, and company guidelines

  • Provide onsite leadership for direct subcontractor workforce, control and direction of all field and construction management activities.

  • Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on the project status and issues.

  • Inspect and monitor the quality and progress of the work, identifying and resolving any deficiencies or deviations. 

  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors and other construction personnel to determine project needs.

  • Ensure job site remains safe, clean and orderly.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in commercial or government construction.

  • Ability to review confidential US security information.

Additional Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30-hour Certification preferred.

  • USACE QCMC Certificate and EM-385.1.1 Certificate preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related discipline preferred.

  • Experience in multi-tasking to include working on your project and managing multiple other Project Managers on different project sites.

  • Strong knowledge/background in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection layout and construction practices.

  • Ability to work as a team member to complete the project.

  • In depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractor field operations.

  • Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.

  • Computer software proficiency with Microsoft Suite, ProCore, eCMS, construction industry Project Management Information System required.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $111,000–$161,500 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role. Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. This range supports our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable laws. Compensation may vary by work location, including remote arrangements. We disclose salary ranges and benefits in all required external and internal postings and will provide further details upon request at any stage of the hiring process.
