About The Opportunity

Wonder is looking for a Senior Recruiter to lead our most important searches: executive and senior leadership roles, plus the hard-to-fill, business-critical hires across business and business-technology functions that shape how we grow. You'll partner directly with our C-suite and senior leaders as a trusted advisor, find the best talent in the market, and give every executive candidate a polished, white-glove experience. This is not a high-volume or transactional role; it's for a seasoned recruiter whose judgment, presence, and craft our leaders can rely on.

The Impact You Will Make

Day-to-Day Responsibilities and Activities

  • Run a focused portfolio of senior and executive searches (Director through VP and C-suite) end to end, from intake to signed offer
  • Source and engage passive talent through target lists, market mapping, and thoughtful, persistent outreach
  • Lead candidate conversations with discretion and care, keeping executive candidates informed and engaged at every step
  • Prepare leaders and interview panels, run debriefs, and drive clear, timely hiring decisions
  • Give leaders crisp, honest updates on pipeline, market feedback, risks, and next steps

Essential Job Duties

  • Partner directly with C-suite and senior leaders to define each role, the profile, and what great looks like
  • Design and manage interview processes leaders can rely on: clear stages, the right interviewers, structured evaluation, and a decisive close
  • Assess candidates on leadership, collaboration, and alignment with Wonder's values, mission, and goals, not only skills on paper
  • Manage senior-level offers and negotiations, including equity, with Compensation and People partners
  • Keep candidate data and search status accurate in Workday

Initial Focus and Key Deliverables

  • In your first 30 days, take ownership of a set of priority searches already in flight; review pipelines, re-engage strong candidates, and reset search strategy with each leader
  • Within 60 days, build trusted working relationships with your executive stakeholders and deliver qualified slates on every assigned search
  • Within 90 days, close your first senior hires and put in place a repeatable executive search playbook (kickoff, scorecards, interview plans, closing)

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on talent, compensation, market conditions, and search approach
  • Deliver a white-glove candidate experience that reflects the Wonder brand
  • Fill hard-to-fill roles across business functions (e.g., finance, accounting, legal) and business-technology functions (e.g., product, design, data)
  • Raise the bar for how Wonder runs senior hiring, and share market insight with the rest of the Talent Acquisitions team

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (nice to have, not required)
  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 4+ years focused on Director, VP, and C-suite hiring (in-house, executive search, or both)
  • Proven track record partnering directly with C-suite and senior executive leaders as a trusted advisor
  • Experience closing senior searches across both business and business-technology functions
  • Strong executive presence: polished, articulate, and confident advising and pushing back on senior leaders
  • Strong sourcing and market-mapping skills, with a record of engaging and closing passive senior talent
  • Experience managing executive offers and negotiations, including equity, with discretion
  • Proficiency with an enterprise ATS (Workday preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter

Got These? Even Better

  • Experience recruiting in high-growth consumer, food, delivery, marketplace, or technology companies
  • Experience hiring legal leaders (counsel or general counsel) or senior finance and accounting leaders
  • A mix of retained executive search firm and in-house experience

As a matter of company policy, Wonder does not sponsor applicants for employment visa status for this role.

Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.
