In this role you will be supporting field evaluation clients with solutions to fulfill regulatory requirements and assists the code authority to approve the installation. What we offer:
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated annual OTE (on track earnings) for this position is $159,500 - $190,900 USD which includes a base salary of $94,500 - $125,900 USD and 100% on target performance. Members of the sales team are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Commission Plan on day one and it is uncapped. The annual target incentive for this position is contingent upon performance. Compensation is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors.
This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- This role is remote, responsible for sales within the Southern Region
- Plans sales strategy and maintains ongoing plan to prioritize portfolio of accounts and maintain relationships throughout the year.
- Interfaces with customers to promote and sell UL field evaluations.
- Uses technical credibility to build relationships with buyers and centers of influence.
- Under minimal guidance, drives sales process from beginning to end, leveraging support from Sales Support Specialists and Inside Sales Executives when necessary.
- Proactively manages customer to ensure renewals of services where applicable.
- Continuously explore and develop opportunities to sell field evaluations services.
- Establishes strong connects with new logo prospects from inbound and outbound channels to qualify their needs, understand decision-makers, and land new customers.
- Proactively engages in discovery, opportunity identification, proposals, and closing for sales of field evaluations and services.
- Participation in IAEI meetings and industry conferences
- Leverages technical support when customer has a qualified need.
- Creates pipeline of new logo prospects to supplement existing account activities, owns new logo process through close of sale.
- Brings in additional resources when advantageous to support sales process
- Transitions implementation to success / fulfillment teams after sales have been closed to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Where applicable, supports development of multi-year account plans in Testing, Inspection and Certification by providing insight
- Actions on opportunities to sell field evaluations
- Works collaboratively with sales team on discovery and opportunity identification
- Provides expert input during account planning process on potential growth opportunities within assigned solution area.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 6+ years of related sales experience
- Deep knowledge and experience with Field Evaluation and Inspection Services
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes related to Field Evaluations and Inspection Services.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software.
- 25-50% business travel and work outside of the office is required
