About The Role

This role is a critical individual-contributor position on the Sales Strategy & Operations team, partnering closely with Sales leadership across both G2's recurring revenue (subscription) and advertising businesses. You will independently determine the right methods and metrics for new and ad hoc assignments, proactively build relationships across teams to get work done, and bring structure and rigor to analysis and reporting that helps our GTM leaders make faster, better-informed decisions. When a project or analysis doesn't land as expected, you'll run a thorough retrospective and turn it into a concrete recommendation for improvement

In This Role, You Will:
  • Independently own ad hoc analysis, reporting, and sales strategy for G2's recurring revenue and advertising businesses — scoping and driving your own projects, partnering crossfunctionally to align and execute, and using structured, data-driven thinking to inform go-to market decisions, forecasting, and annual planning

  • Partner with Sales leadership across G2's recurring revenue and advertising businesses, and make recommendations that shape go-to-market strategy

  • Independently determine the right approach for ad hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools (e.g., customer segmentation, win/loss trends, pipeline health, white space) to answer time-sensitive questions from Sales and Revenue leadership

  • Identify performance trends across the recurring revenue and ads businesses, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Sales leadership

  • Build and maintain recurring and ad hoc reporting (dashboards, business review materials) that gives Sales leadership real-time visibility into pipeline, bookings, and quota attainment across both business lines

  • Proactively partner with Finance & Strategy, Functional Sales Operations, and the Strategy, Planning & Insights team to streamline shared reporting processes and deliverables

Minimum Qualifications:

We realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times. Even if you don’t check all the boxes in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.

  • 6+ years of sales/business operations, sales strategy, or related analytical experience

  • Strong Excel/G-sheet/BI skills, with experience building reporting and conducting ad hoc analysis across large, complex data sets

  • Fluency in SaaS/recurring revenue and Ads metrics

  • Strong ability to translate data into clear business recommendations

  • Well-organized and a strong communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to work independently, moving from an ambiguous ask to a polished analysis or recommendation

  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, or similar CRM and BI tools

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field

  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and business review materials

What Can Help Your Application Stand Out:
  • Experience working in a high-growth SaaS or subscription-based business

  • Experience supporting both a subscription/recurring revenue business and an advertising or media sales business
