Job Description:
The Senior Salesforce Developer develops and maintains solutions within the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to support both existing functionality and new business requirements. The role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying scalable and secure Salesforce applications and components. The Senior Salesforce Developer will work closely with project managers, business analysts, administrators, and other developers to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. In addition, the role will participate in all phases of the development of lifecycle, including system analysis, design, development, deployment, and support.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Designing and developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and the SFDC toolkit.
- Building and maintaining integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Developing user interfaces and components using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, and other web technologies.
- Creating and managing Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, triggers, and process automation.
- Participating in Agile development sprints, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to gather and refine requirements.
- Performing unit testing, system testing, and supporting user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet quality standards.
- Developing dashboards, reports, and interfaces to improve usability and data visibility for end users.
- Writing technical documentation, including design specifications and deployment procedures.
- Assisting in the deployment of code and configurations across development, QA, and production environments.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Staying current on Salesforce best practices, new features, and platform updates
- Supporting compliance with coding standards, security policies, and data governance requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of development best practices, engage in code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Skills:
- Advanced in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and the Salesforce Developer Toolkit
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for third-party system integrations

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
