The purpose of this role is to develop business software solutions for complex and large scale projects through object and data modeling, database design, programming, quality assurance, and implementation support. The Sr Software Eng II participates in application standards development and serves as an evangelist for best practices.
* What you will do:
* • Perform full software development life cycle, including self-management on small projects and technical leadership on all project sizes. • Determine project operating requirements, costs, and resource needs, collaborating with project managers. • Co-lead agile teams with the Product Owner, following Salesforce best practices and design techniques. • Participate in application architecture planning for optimal efficiency, maintainability, and scalability. • Develop high-level system narratives, detailed design specs, system test plans, and project estimates. • Adhere to CDW coding standards and quality while developing applications. • Identify and resolve critical issues based on an understanding of the business problem. • Make technical decisions aligned with product roadmaps, architecture standards, and management guidance. • Coach and mentor junior team members. • Direct and focus the technical project team's efforts. • Ensure timely project/task completion and reporting of status in daily scrums.
* What we expect of you:
* Bachelors Degree and 7 years application development experience, or 11 years CDW Application Development experience
* 4+ years Lightning framework exp.
* Visualforce, APEX, Force.com APIs, Web Services, Experience builder knowledge
* Azure DevOps, GIT source control exp.
* Salesforce profiles & permission sets creation/maintenance
* Salesforce integration, managed packages exp.
