  • Technical Mentorship: Act as a senior technical advisor, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers on IaC best practices and operational excellence.
  • Systemic Reliability: Lead incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis to drive platform reliability and perform post-incident reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate New Technologies: Lead the evaluation of new approaches and tools to improve platform capabilities and support cost-efficiency initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Extensive Experience: Five or more years as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, with deep experience operating production-grade infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
  • IaC Expertise: Deep proficiency with Terraform, including module development, state management, and multi-environment patterns.
  • Advanced Tooling Knowledge: Extensive experience with Octopus Deploy and Azure DevOps, focusing on pipeline architecture and optimization.
  • OS and Scripting Proficiency: Strong Windows OS management skills and PowerShell scripting abilities to automate complex operational workflows.
  • Security and Compliance: A strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing controls at scale for identity and network security.
  • Leadership and Influence: A proven ability to lead technical initiatives from concept to production and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
