Tiger Analytics is looking for a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect with 15+ years of overall experience, including 10+ years of hands-on experience in data architecture and relevant cloud data technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks, along with deep knowledge of enterprise data warehouse architecture, data modeling, data pipelines, transformation frameworks, data security, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and define enterprise-scale Data & Analytics architectures leveraging Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.
  • Assess diverse legacy data platforms, technologies, and application ecosystems and define scalable future-state architectures.
  • Develop end-to-end data ecosystem architectures covering data ingestion, integration, transformation, storage, analytics, and consumption.
  • Apply strong EDW architecture and data modeling principles to design scalable and maintainable data platforms.
  • Define data pipeline and transformation architectures using modern cloud data engineering technologies.
  • Establish and enforce data security, governance, privacy, and compliance standards across data platforms.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture frameworks, technology standards, and client-specific guidelines.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and go-to architect for client stakeholders on data and analytics architecture decisions.
  • Lead technical and solutioning discussions with clients, partners, vendors, and internal technology teams.
  • Drive architecture reviews and ensure adherence to established frameworks, standards, design principles, and governance processes.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate program execution through technology modernization, automation, reusable frameworks, and architectural best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership across globally distributed/onshore-offshore teams and guide engineering teams in implementing the target architecture.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of overall IT experience, with 10+ years in data architecture, solution architecture, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on architecture experience with Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) architecture and modern cloud data architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling principles, including dimensional, relational, and enterprise data modeling.
  • Strong experience designing data pipelines, data integration, and transformation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data security, governance, privacy, metadata, and compliance.
  • Experience assessing legacy data platforms and architectures and defining modernized future-state solutions.
  • Proven experience designing end-to-end enterprise data ecosystems.
  • Strong experience with solution architecture, technical consulting, and architectural advisory services.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior client stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead architecture and solution discussions with clients, partners, vendors, and technology teams.
  • Experience working within established enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and governance processes.
