Position Summary
The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, configuration, and optimization of Yardi and related financial and accounting applications such as Archway. This role serves as the primary point of contact for Yardi user support, system troubleshooting, user access management, workflow improvements, training, documentation, and vendor coordination. The individual in this role will help ensure continuity, data integrity, and effective use of systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Yardi and related modules, including configuration, user setup, role-based access, and ongoing system support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Yardi user support, issue triage, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, access changes, terminations, and periodic access reviews.
  • Support appropriate segregation of duties and system security practices.
  • Coordinate and support system testing, including release testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of updates or changes.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve workflows, procedures, and documentation related to Yardi administration and business processes.
  • Conduct training for end users and support the adoption of system changes and enhancements.
  • Monitor data quality and help ensure data integrity across Yardi-related processes.
  • Partner with business users to identify inefficiencies, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform root cause analysis on repeat issues and recommend practical solutions to reduce recurring support needs.
  • Design, generate, and support standard and ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders regarding support issues, upgrades, enhancements, and system changes.
  • Maintain documentation for administrative procedures, support processes, historical issues and resolutions, and user-facing guidance.
  • Support related financial systems and interfaces, as needed, where they connect to or impact Yardi operations.

Qualifications
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience administering Yardi Voyager and related modules.
  • Strong understanding of Yardi system administration, user security, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Experience supporting finance, accounting, property management, or real estate operations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to work effectively with accounting and finance users.
  • Experience with user access reviews, compliance-minded administration, and process documentation.
  • Strong reporting and data validation skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer support skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train end users and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Yardi Voyager certification.
  • Experience with Archway and Emburse.
  • Experience supporting integrations between financial and operational systems.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and structured support processes.
  • Experience in property management or real estate environments.
