RESPONSIBILITIES
This full-time, hybrid (3 days in office) position is based in either our Northbrook or Chicago, IL office.
- Prepare and review federal and state corporate income tax returns, extensions, and estimated payments.
- Coordinate the collection and review of tax data from internal stakeholders for non-US income tax compliance, work with external advisors to provide necessary information, and review completed returns.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax returns and compliance documents.
- Assist with the quarterly and annual income tax provision process, including calculation and analysis of effective tax rate, deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowance, UTPs, and other related provision activities in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare financial statement disclosures related to income tax footnotes for quarterly and annual reports.
- Support the gathering and analysis of financial data for tax compliance and provision purposes.
- Research and analyze tax technical issues and legislative changes impacting the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in accounting, finance, and external advisors to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the tax function.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MST or CPA preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in federal and state corporate income tax compliance and/or tax provision, preferably in a public accounting firm or a large corporate tax department.
- Experience with OneSource systems including Income Tax, Tax Provision, DataFlow, Workpapers, and/or UTP preferred.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP tax accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other tax technology tools.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
