What you’ll do:

  • Design and Prototyping:

    • Create user-centered experiences for native iOS applications and responsive web platforms through research-informed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

    • Design and refine component-based experiences within established design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to platform-specific standards and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

    • Develop interactive prototypes and visual design solutions that effectively communicate concepts, workflows, and interactions to stakeholders and development teams.

  • User Research and Experience Strategy:

    • Conduct and synthesize user research, usability findings, behavioral insights, and business requirements to identify opportunities and inform design decisions.

    • Defining information architecture, interaction models, and end-to-end user journeys across complex, multi-platform ecosystems.

    • Translate customer needs and business objectives into intuitive, effective user experiences.

  • Collaboration and Product Leadership:

    • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, designers, and business stakeholders to align user needs with technical and business goals.

    • Contribute strategic design thinking to product planning, roadmap discussions, and solution development.

    • Independently manage multiple initiatives while influencing design direction and advocating for best practices across teams.

  • Accessibility, Quality, and Documentation:

    • Ensure all experiences meet usability, accessibility, and inclusive design standards.

    • Create and maintain design specifications, component documentation, workflows, and implementation guidance to support successful product delivery.

    • Uphold quality, consistency, governance, and security standards throughout the design lifecycle.

  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, AI-enabled design capabilities, and platform advancements.

    • Evaluate and leverage AI-driven research tools, generative design assistants, and other emerging technologies to improve design efficiency and outcomes while maintaining ethical and user-centered practices.

    • Analyze performance metrics, user feedback, and business outcomes to continuously improve products and design processes.

What you’ll need:

AT&T is seeking a Senior UX Designer with deep expertise in native mobile experiences and a proven ability to design across complex, multi-platform ecosystems. The ideal candidate possesses advanced knowledge of iOS design principles, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and responsive design practices, with demonstrated experience creating seamless experiences across iOS, Android, and Web platforms. This role requires strong user experience fundamentals, expertise in component-based design systems, and the ability to balance hands-on design execution with strategic thinking to solve complex business and user challenges. The successful candidate will be comfortable working within enterprise-scale products, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, leveraging AI-enabled design tools and emerging technologies, and advocating for accessible, user-centered experiences that drive meaningful outcomes for customers and the business. 

The ideal candidate combines strong visual and interaction design expertise with a passion for solving complex problems, collaborating across disciplines, and delivering exceptional user-centered experiences.

What you’ll bring:

  • Required Experience:

    • 3-5 years’ experience; Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Proficient experience in contributing to and refining design systems to ensure consistency across products, including IOS

    • Up to date with the latest iOS design trends, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and industry’s best practices

  • Desired Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is preferred

  • Desired Qualifications:

    • Experienced professional with advanced, interdisciplinary knowledge, resolving difficult and complex issues using broad professional concepts

    • Guides others, applying advanced principles and company practices. Leads moderate sized projects (or parts of larger projects) with strategic value

    • Operates autonomously with frequent senior leadership interaction

Our Senior UX Designer jobs earn between $116,700.00 - $196,100.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
