Key Responsibilities

  • Concept, design, and prototype UX/UI experiences in Figma, from initial concepts and wireframes to final interfaces and design systems.
  • Ensure all design work aligns with WordPress structure including responsive development best practices, and scalable component architecture.
  • Partner with developers to ensure design handoffs are clear, efficient, and technically feasible.
  • Conduct or interpret user research, journey mapping, and usability feedback to inform design improvements.
  • Create and manage component libraries and maintain client brand standards.
  • Apply WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design principles to ensure universal usability.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, SEO, and Content teams to align UX decisions with performance and conversion goals.
  • Utilize analytics, UX data, and A/B testing insights to iterate on user flows and visual hierarchies.
  • Explore and implement AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Large Language Models, etc.) for workflow optimization.
  • Generate motion graphics

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for websites or digital applications.
  • Advanced experience in Figma, including prototyping, auto-layouts, and design system creation.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with developers (coding not required).
  • Familiarity with WordPress, design implementation, and content management systems.
  • Experience maintaining brand systems and reusable design components.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and client collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Human–Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Motion graphics, 3D, AI design work-flow experience preferred

Salary Range

The total target compensation for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience, expertise and internal equity.
