Job Description

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Summary

As the Financial Supply Chain Management Product Manager and domain subject matter expert, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the product strategy, overseeing end-to-end development, and ensuring the ongoing enhancement of our FSCM offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Product Leadership: Drive the strategic roadmap for FSCM products, ensuring alignment with business goals and evolving client needs across domestic and cross-border markets.
•    Deal Support: Provide expert support for complex FSCM transactions in the region, collaborating closely with front-line teams to structure and deliver tailored solutions.
•    Stakeholder Engagement: Lead cross-functional discussions with key internal stakeholders—including Credit, Legal, Group Technology & Operations, Compliance, and Business Finance—to secure approvals and facilitate seamless execution.
•    Client-Centric Development: Gather and analyze feedback from corporate clients across UOB’s core markets to identify trade product consumption trends and unmet needs.
•    Capability Building: Translate client insights into actionable product development initiatives, enhancing trade finance capabilities in line with the strategic trade roadmap.

Job Requirements

  • FSCM Specialist proficient in full suite of FSCM Solution Types UOB offers, FSCM Underwriting Framework & FSCM platform capability;
  • Possess strong product knowledge across all FSCM Solution Types in the market, local & international bank, as well as good grasp of FSCM platform capability in the market (bank proprietary & 3rd party) for competitive insights and market benchmark referencing;
  • Good appreciation of local and regional regulation governing FSCM offering in order to facilitate liaising with internal stakeholders incl. Credit, Legal, Compliance, etc.
  • Interpersonal skill will be critical in this role.
