SEO Expert | WFH | Bangalore Candidates

Own and execute SEO strategies across three brands, covering keyword research, content and on-page optimization, technical audits, link building, local SEO, analytics, and reporting. The role requires improving organic rankings, traffic, conversions, and visibility while collaborating with content, marketing, sales, and development teams. Responsibilities include managing crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, backlinks, Google Business Profiles, competitor analysis, and SEO performance recommendations.

- Job Overview:
We’re seeking a highly experienced and driven SEO expert who will own, execute, and evolve the SEO strategies across three dynamic brands. You’ll be responsible for everything from keyword research and on-page optimization to technical audits, linkbuilding, local SEO, and performance tracking. You should be data-driven, hands-on, and results-oriented, with a knack for identifying organic growth opportunities and executing SEO campaigns that drive traffic, leads, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Planning
• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for each brand tailored to their industry and target audience.
• Align SEO goals with marketing, sales, and content teams to ensure crossfunctional impact.
• Define KPIs and success metrics across platforms (blogs, landing pages, events, courses, etc.).
2. Keyword Research & Content SEO
• Conduct in-depth keyword research using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, etc.
• Work closely with the content team to guide blog, video, podcast, and product page content strategy.
• Optimize existing content, identify content gaps, and develop new content recommendations for SERP dominance.
• Implement schema markup and rich snippet strategies where needed.
3. On-Page SEO
• Perform site-wide audits and improve on-page elements: Title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and URL structure.
• Optimize page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
• Ensure SEO best practices are followed in page structure, HTML tags, and image optimization.
4. Technical SEO
• Audit and optimize site architecture, crawlability, indexation, and XML sitemaps.
• Manage robots.txt and resolve crawl errors, redirects, broken links, and duplicate content issues.
• Liaise with developers to implement necessary technical fixes and improvements.
• Monitor Core Web Vitals and improve Lighthouse performance metrics.
5. Off-Page SEO & Link Building
• Devise a strong backlink acquisition strategy using white-hat methods.
• Build relationships with bloggers, journalists, and industry websites for guest posting and link opportunities.
• Monitor backlink profile using tools like Ahrefs or Majestic and disavow toxic links.
6. Local SEO (for Glampies & BeAthlit Events)
• Optimize for local packs and Google Business Profiles (formerly GMB).
• Manage NAP consistency across local listings, directories, and map services.
• Implement event-based SEO for location-targeted reach and engagement.
7. Analytics & Reporting
• Monitor rankings, crawl stats, organic traffic, conversions, and user behavior using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.
• Create monthly performance reports with insights, trends, and recommendations.
• Conduct competitor SEO benchmarking and gap analysis.
Requirements
• 3–6+ years of full-stack SEO experience (preferably across multiple domains or brands).
• Deep expertise in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush, GTmetrix, and similar tools.
• Strong command of HTML, CSS basics, JavaScript SEO concepts, and CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or custom systems.
• Proven results in improving keyword rankings, organic traffic, and lead conversions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you go beyond dashboards to uncover growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical SEO into business decisions.
• Knowledge of voice search, YouTube SEO, event-based SEO, and app indexing is a plus.
