- Competitive hourly wage, ranges $40.00 – 46.00/hour, plus overtime & shift differential

Education & experience:
- BS in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering preferred, or comparable experience with industrial robotics or machine tools.
- 5+ years of experience in the industrial automation industry.
- Experience as service technician, electrical schematic designer, or PLC programmer is acceptable.
- 5+ years of Siemens PLC Programming Experience (Preferred)
Qualifications:
- Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal PLC programming experience; SINUMERIK experience preferred.
- CNC troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of electrical safety guidelines.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical safety guidelines.
- Familiar with ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061 safety of machinery standards.
- Familiarity with IEC61131 (PLC programming languages).
- Experience using precision measurement equipment (i.e. Dial indicators, calipers, etc.)
- Strong communication skills & ability to interact with teams, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to analyze and diagnose problems in automated equipment.
- Experience with aerial platforms, working with heights.
- Experience in assembly electrical cabinets, preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops training procedures and documentation for projects.
- Travel to customer sites for training and machine commissioning; willingness to travel 75%+
- Train customer’s staff & new technicians in machine operation as needed.
- Provide electrical and controls engineering expertise for sales projects & opportunities.
