We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer / Architect to design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions that enhance collaboration, document management, and business process automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), .Net Development, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 integrations.

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Design and develop custom SharePoint solutions using SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and C# .Net programming languages.
  • Translate complex functional and technical requirements into sprint plans and release schedules.
  • Ensure alignment of custom applications with enterprise architecture standards and principles
  • Estimate customization efforts and apply SharePoint and Azure architecture patterns.
  • Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services and third-party APIs.
  • Customize SharePoint branding and user interfaces.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of SharePoint data and applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint applications using client-side and server-side technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint features, updates, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain solution roadmaps and architecture standards.
  • Present solutions to clients and stakeholders with consulting aptitude.

The qualifications.

  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development (Online and/or On-Premises).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with client-side technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Familiarity with server-side technologies such as C# .NET, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and content management.
  • Familiarity building GitHub actions for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Adept at version control and pull request processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. A pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers some contingent staff positions the option to elect health insurance in addition to limited paid sick time.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO, IL, or MA. Please review the position location for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range for their position, as compensation decisions are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer market-based starting salaries that are consistent across individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

The compensation range for this role in IL, MA,OH or CO is: $114,000.00 - $188,000.00
